May 13th 2009 2:41PM I agree, though seeing how some artists in that gallery have multiple pieces, maybe it should of been top 5 instead of 3. Personally the 3 winners didn't impress me, but the ones after it, made by Mellanie Nicklo and Evan Hunt, and the Murloc dragging Frostmourne, were great to me.
May 12th 2009 6:17PM Wow, who took a dump in your cheerios Zweitblom, how was I "Whining"? Maybe if you actually thought a second, you would of realized what I was saying.
They are increasing Wisdom so it won't be overrided by mana spring, so instead of choosing between the two now, its basically saying don't bother with MS, cause BoW is better.
It's blizzards fault that they didn't even think of this when they had a prime example when fixing BoM and battle shout.
May 11th 2009 9:55PM Its a spell belonging tot he paladin class? Duh.
Blizzard loves making us feel special, then like a pimp will do to any of his... employees, smacks us, spits on us, then burns us with his cuban cigarr.
May 11th 2009 9:54PM And another thing.
"Blessing of Wisdom and Greater Blessing of Wisdom: Now grant 92 mana per 5 seconds to prevent being overwritten by Mana Spring Totem."
Didn't Blizzard just say they wanted you to choose one or the other...?
Isn't that the reason they did that in the first place...?
Whatever you guys are smoking or huffing, or snorting or whatever... please stop... for the love of god just stop.
May 11th 2009 9:50PM oh for that last statement of yours, it may be busted, or it just proves you were just leaching. If you couldnt do anything in the first few, and knew you would have horrid, movement stopping lag, why do 10 more? You still got honor, thats why. Basically as bad as going "AFK".
May 11th 2009 9:49PM What are you smoking?
There is no indication or mention in the article that its becoming harder, so your bit about "Whining", or "whinge" in the odd little world you live in. They are gutting the quests in it to forcibly reduce interest in it. It isn't a fix, its a joke.
They love flaunting that they learn a lot about this and that, and while sometimes it might seem evident, I can bet you that any innovation they bring will be gutted and spat upon til its as grimy and unappealing as everything else.
As for the ulduar statement, I remember reading that Blizz releases the raids a little overpowered, then based on what happens overall, weaken or buff things here or there. The playerbase is responsible then, in a sense, for what happens. They want a harder dungeon? Then get better. I bet if more guilds that raid were in and doing well in Ulduar, it wouldn't be nerfed so much.
May 11th 2009 7:39PM Yep, definitely Activision behind this.
They figured there is more than enough "WoW Comics" out now in the form of manga and comic books they've had made, so they are going after the internet comics. Don't let them take any ideas before Acti-blizz can do em, start small, then work your way up.
If they are lucky, they'll be allowed to continue, but have to be "WoW Approved".
Next up? I bet the machinimators will be attacked with such a crazed thing.
There is no more blizzard, face it. It's activision, and we were all suckered into thinking Blizzard would be untouched by a product-w***e. In hindsight, it makes sense too, doesnt it? The starcraft split-up wasn't cause of restrictions, Activision knows how desperate everyone is wanting it, and knows they can rape our wallets. Just you wait, Diablo 3 is next. It'll only release with Warrior and Sorcerror. We'll have to wait a year for us to buy two more classes and maybe one new area, and the cost? 40 bucks.
I may be going conspiracy-theory crazy right now, but it makes sense.
May 11th 2009 1:19PM Because anything legendary to do with casters is broken before players can get their hand on it.
Atiesh? I bet Kel'thezud and gang were using it as a limbo pole, Patchwerk went to try while kel wasn't there, despite being told not to, and tripped and fell onto the staff. Everyone panicked, decided to hide the shards, and threw the base of the staff out of naxx and left the head at Kel's door with a ransom note.
As for this? Whack a mole incident involving kolgaran and a whack-a-mole machina Mimir devised...
Face it magic users... your legendaries are frail...
May 8th 2009 4:28PM Or the scale itself tapers off.
Through one expansion? Sure the legendary will be good for the first few raids, might even last up to the very last thrust. Next expansion? Eh... its starting to show its age, and next thing ya know, its replaced with a mid-level dungeon blue.
So lets take Sulfuron's hammer, it last to about Black Temple, and partway into sunwell. Now its not the best, but it makes the weapons there, on the lower end at least, side-grades and not real upgrades.
You hit Northrend though, and that axe from the anguish tournament in Zul'drak is a clear upgrade. And if you hit 80 still using it, well, its about a high-powered green to low heroic blue.
May 5th 2009 4:49PM same here
and we know the swag they provide in the bags isn't worth the $100+ cost either, except for well, beta codes, but then again, is it exactly fair to let people "Buy" their way into betas? Eh.
