Mar 21st 2012 3:29PM I'd love a glyph of mind flay that brings back my big blue laser. I get a little sad any time I see an NPC using the original graphic.
Mar 2nd 2012 10:55AM My guild has used Suicide Kings very successfully for the past 2 expansions.
Unless stated at the beginning of the run that you are rolling for an off spec you can only need on gear for your current role.
You have three options on what you bid:
Need > Suicide Greed > Greed
Suicide greed would be a "need" for an offset piece of gear.
People on their first run for that tier are added to the bottom of the list.
Loot is distributed: Tier Token > Trinkets/weapons/amulets/rings > armor
In the case of a tie (2 pieces of armor, or two weapons) they are distributed in order that they appear in the loot window.
Simple, elegant and easy to explain implement and pretty much completely eliminates gear issues except when people roll need on stupid things because they are "upgrades" (Mage needing the spirit dagger off of Yor'sahj).
Aug 29th 2011 11:38AM I always thought that the T10 25-man gear (ILVL 264) looked the best. That odd combination of orange an purple really worked and wasn't as harsh a contrast as the dark purple and green of the 251 set. It also felt to me like it fit the theme of a member of the Cult of the Damned infiltrating the Lich King's domain and working against him from the inside.
