Dec 14th 2009 11:04AM That's lucky. I had two PUGs yesterday (one for HOR and one for OK), where my modestly geared mage (~2500 dps) was by far the dps leader. In HOR, we couldn't do enough dps to finish the Arthas event, and in OK, the tank quit before the second boss because he couldn't hold aggro on anything, even vis-a-vis a newly lvl 80 DK with 18k health unbuffed.
May 15th 2008 5:11PM Newbie question - if I have Omen loaded, do other people in my group have to have a threatmeter loaded also for me to be able to see their threat?
Apr 24th 2008 6:25PM I do the same thing with many alts, but I also PVP a lot. I don't know if the reader PVPs at all, but battlegrounds can be a great way to upgrade your gear without spending any gold. It's also a nice way to spend an hour or so of playtime a day - you can run 1 or 2 battlegrounds a day, and within a week probably collect enough marks to buy one piece of gear. At any given bracket (19, 29, 39, 49), you'll be able to upgrade at least your weapons, cloaks, rings, belts, and boots and pick up trinkets along the way. Most of the BG gear is better than that available for a given level otherwise, instances or no.

Feb 11th 2008 2:23PM Why not just make speed-up effects not work in midfield - focus the battle there; as it is, it's trivial to get the flag across midfield, but yet that's where the fighting should be. I agree with the majority of commenters, waiting 10 minutes for a 50% increase in damage taken is not going to change a whole lot when the FC and 4 healers are standing in the graveyard.
