Apr 14th 2010 11:15AM Of course there is a lot missing, as they have stated several times over that this is a preview, not a compiled list of all the changes.
Jul 8th 2009 7:10PM As a raid leader I use Recount for a lot of things. i follow the dps with it seeing who is doing her thing and who is slacking to how my healers are doing, what spells they use as well as what spells and attacks the rest of the raid is using. For tanks it shows me hits and miss so I can help direct them to improvements.
Another great addon for deaths and seeing where things went wrong is Acheron.
It is a rick click breakdown of what happened to that person before and as they die.
Jan 21st 2009 5:46PM This wasn't well said at all. All this guy does is whine and complain about everything. I don't think I have ever seen someone SO negative about EVERY aspect of the game.
As many have said... complaints about content releases taking to long and then complaining when they do. i guess they can run the test realms better. I am SURe everyone who went to the PTR made arena teams and just sat in wintersgrasp. And I am SURE it was on the scale that it is live.
Mike SCRAM, your negativity in the wow community is unwanted and it feels like you just pump out articles to inflate your ego. Its funny how most of the time they are just rewrites of some other fan sites postings.
Sep 17th 2008 5:07PM I played with this on the beta and with Blessing of Might, mark of the Wild and in cat form I hit just over 8k ap.
Although that seems insane (I was like wtf 8k.) I didn't see a big different in my hits which leads me to believe that either 1. AP plateau's at some point and isn't as effective over a certain level or 2. Our damage caps.
Either isn't totally bad as you could say stack crit and then use the finisher to get the Ap you sacrificed for crit.
Even with 4 CP's it lasted well though another set of combo points, and a lot of the time I could build back to 4 or 5 and get a rip before it wore out.
On a boss or in a raid I can see this as helping sustain some high dps numbers.
I didn't get to try it in raids though, just for pvp.
Aug 19th 2008 6:46PM "The whole BlizzCon deal, specifically if the apology from Mike Morhaime smoothed things over (we mostly think it did). "
Again it is just never enough for you. I don't think you can post without making some snide remark about them.
I have to say I think you ought to just walk away from blogging on wow as your snide comments are getting old, tiresome and are in line with the mindless forum trolls.
Aug 19th 2008 5:35PM This is just another attempt at Mike talking down Blizzard and thier game. I am honestly not sure why he plays it or reports on it. All he does is finds information others have posted and then tosses in his snide comments about what Blizzard does wrong.
GG WI on a great "blogger" for your site.
Aug 13th 2008 5:55PM Sorry.
This sounds like a bitter writer lashing out.
He states the entire www.blizzard.com site was down and it never was, only the blizzard store went offline.
It isn't like Blizzard has to "do" anything that you you guys wish. All these people making all these comments about what they should and shouldn't do.
You were not there. You have no idea what was going on behind the scenes. No idea of what kind of actual load must have been pressed on the store servers.
10 million subscribers and 12000 tickets. With the average person getting two that leaves 6000 tickets to span the mass of people who want to go. I'm sure that doesn't look like an opportunity for a mass of people logging in.
Everyone is blaming thier servers. I am gonna have to say here it can also be attributed to the incredible amount of people using the same bandwidth trying to get in and pressing F5 4000 times... thats one hell of a lot of page requests.
Blizzard has apologized for the delays but it doesn't seem to be enough for you you people.
The one thing I have noticed in the wow community is that when one person has a negative opinion about something, fanboi's pour out of the woodwork jumping on the bandwagon to cheer the hate.
if everyone is so concerned and thinks they could do any of this better.. then do it.. set up your own "hate fanboi-con" and see how hard it is to organize and prepare for.
This used to be one of my favorite sites for wow information but it has become so cynical and negative I am walking away from it today for good.
and gg for all the people responding to my post with troll comments, you just prove my point
Apr 7th 2008 5:39PM I don't think the wedding cake is int he same category as the birthday one. The wedding cake was professionally made and the birthday cake was made persoanlly.
Huge difference in my opinion and not comparable.
besides.. Alliance owns all !
Dec 17th 2007 7:33PM derth, when you unzip them, you also have to make sure they aren't nested ie : you unzip "thisaddon" and it creates a folder named "thisaddon" inside it will usually be a folder named "thisaddon" and thats the one you need to move.
so unzipped to /thisaddon/thisaddon/(addone files)
