Blizzard issues official statement on Raid Finder exploit consequences {WoW}

Dec 6th 2011 3:31PM If they had done it once, and it was something that did not require extreme player interactivity, it wouldn't be so harsh.

I'm fairly sure details are well known now, and its patched, but the exploit required you to cycle one member out for a fresh person who was eligible, then you make him raid leader. After the boss is dead, everyone teleports out and back in the dungeon and the raid leader could distribute loot to everyone.

Being that guilds did this 20+ times, is what makes the suspensions necessary. If it happened once and they went ah, this isn't right, and reported it, all that would probably happen is the loot getting removed. Instead they decided to run it 20+ times, and act like entitled children.

I mean it says right up front, you cannot get loot from a boss more than once a week. Its not like its hard to understand.

Lichborne: Unholy issues in Patch 3.2 {WoW}

The author has a good point about the "extra annoying little combat stats" that have been added over time, specially since the implementation and scaling of them runs in the background.

Now you might enjoy pretending to theorycraft while using the spreadsheets someone made up for you based on assumptions they created with 100s of housr of PTR testing, some of us dont have the time. And when you consdier the way these are implemented change with each patch, its a royal PITA to keep up with whats good for what spec on which particualr pahse of the moon it is.

Jul 10th 2009 10:00AM Actually.. I'm pretty sure its common knowledge that food can drasticly change the character of bodily fluids, such as taste. It isnt a strech to the body odor example because the majority of your odor is caused by prespiration.

If the scent of your presperation changes, so does your overal BO

Patch 3.1.1 notes released {WoW}

Apr 21st 2009 2:06PM You can crash software by changing 1 character in the wrong spot. Its not really the size of the patch that dicates how long they will take, but what they require. resetting talents, testing, backing up the servers before hand, reloading images if things didnt go right, etc.

Unless you want roll backs. those are fun.

Why all race Death Knights make sense from a lore standpoint {WoW}

May 23rd 2008 1:33PM Grr.. looks like my post got eaten. anyway:

For all of you arguing lore reasosn why you can't have all race death knights, i sincerly doubt any of you have actually bothered reading death knight lore, or, completely missed the only relevant paragraph:

grudgingly spared the council's former master, Gul'dan, in exchange for the warlock's servitude; in turn Gul'dan promised to create a host of powerful new warriors to serve the Horde. After experimenting at length with the souls of the recently slain council members, Gul'dan successfully instilled the spirit of the necrolyte Teron Gorefiend into the corpse of a fallen knight of Stormwind. Thus, the first terrifying death knight was born.

Reads the last two sentences there. The spirits of fallen warlock council memebers were placed into the bodies of fallen warriors. SO... appearance wise, all the death knights were human. Soul wise.. they were all Orcs.

The RACE of a death knight has nothing to do with what anything. It was a convient corpse. OR perhaps even a body was specifically selected buy the person to have his soul shoved into. Want to become a big buff tank? shove that soul into a tauren!

So.. again.. there is no lore reason why you can't have everyone.
