Mar 19th 2012 4:22AM That screenshot makes me happy. I instantly formed a three-pet team once this feature was announced, but I had been worried that the name length limit might not accommodate a mechanical chicken named Mechascootaloo. It will!
Mar 13th 2012 3:32PM Probably since the poll isn't directed at that demographic in the slightest.
Feb 9th 2012 8:36PM Screw all that, I want Warcraft: The Flamethrower.
Jan 16th 2012 6:27PM How so? Is there something wrong with the shape, or perhaps the color?
Dec 16th 2011 7:45PM This is probably just me disqualifying myself, but the previous attempt only resulted in a message about a confirmation email/password (despite already having one), which never turned up, much like the actual comment. So, time to try again.
Dec 16th 2011 7:13PM Time to flood my post history with drawing entries.
Dec 9th 2011 1:33AM *Okie dokie Loki.
Dec 7th 2011 4:18PM Well, three people who benefited from it would be a better way to phrase that, but the point still stands.
(for god's sake, please tell me someone is working behind the scenes to get a more robust comment system implemented here)
Dec 7th 2011 4:15PM Although it's the top guilds people are focusing on, this is by no means an exploit that was limited to them. On my server, where the highest-ranked guild in my faction is #184, the method to perform this exploit was common knowledge and openly discussed in trade a few times. I know of at least three people who did it, all from fairly average guilds.
Any punishment meted out by Blizzard for this absolutely must be applied equally. To do otherwise would demonstrate blatant favoritism on their part in an area where that least needs to be and touch off a much, much larger (and very justifiable) shitstorm.
Dec 6th 2011 5:17PM This. Anybody who expects something to be immediately 100% bug-free is completely delusional. Millions of people in nearly uncountable sets of circumstances are always going to think of something or be in a situation that was not tested, especially in a system with as many moving parts as this.
(Disclaimer, since I know someone would bitch about it without one: This doesn't give developers a free pass to not fix KNOWN, widespread, easily repeatable bugs, provided that their existence is causing more of a hindrance than fixing it would entail. Emphasis on the known.)
