Dec 29th 2008 9:53AM I'm curious to see what they will do with the lore in the future related to the blue dragronflight. Obviously after we kill Maligos, we not gonna go slaughter all of the rest of blue dragons. And will in the future one or number of the elder blues will become the new guardians of magic. Although based on the lore most of the blues are not as old as many other elder dragons.
Dec 24th 2008 1:37PM Something along the bugged quest lines. It seems that if I pick up one of the elemental quests, and then keep it until the next day and try to do it the next day, elementals drop nothing. I had the embers quest from a couple of days ago, and I tried to kill the revers and the elementals, and not a single ember dropped event though I killed tons and got a lot of frozen fire off of them.
Dec 23rd 2008 9:46AM Personally I started raiding in BC and never did a 40 man raid. I don't think I ever want to. I liked Kara and ZA for the nice 10 man raid that I would run with a close knit group of people. 25 man raids were always a stretch.
So personally I would not do 40 mans, but I think they might want to bring them in to satisfy the "hardcore" crowd that is so upset with how "easy" things are. I think things get a lot harder when besides knowing the fights, its managing 40 people to act together. Maybe that's what the hardcore people need, not a harder game, just more people to micro manage. And then you can make the 40 man epics like uber epic. I'll stick to my 10 man and an occasional 25.
Dec 22nd 2008 10:16AM I LOVE my warlock. I like my other alts, but I dont' think I'll ever leave my lock. He's just so much fun to play with. It's a breaze to grind for things with him. I tried the death knight, I'm not exited. It's a flavor of the month, and it will go away pretty soon.
A lock is a lock. The reason locks may not top off the damage charts for now is that we are still looking for that perfect build with a good combo of gear. But even then, locks are not longer locked into one spec for raiding. All three specs are viable and fun. I can't wait to start raiding with my lock.
Dec 22nd 2008 10:11AM Casual raiding is definetily a possibility. I raided twise a week with my guild in BC. We had more raids going on sometimes, but I limited myself to twise a week. Plus we would always cut off at 11 PM. So it is possible. It just takes a right guild, and commited people. My guild was progressing a bit before I joined. I joined around a time when a lot of people left. So I did not really see SSC till after patch 3.0. But even then, I can say that I sport a full T4 set that I'm still using at level 78.
Also, lets keep the Finger up the references off. It does hit the nail but a bit too hard.
Dec 16th 2008 12:40PM I was chatting on IM with a coworker and she was complaining about all the work she got at the last moment. and I said :( /cry. She was like - what?
I said - oops I mean I feel you pain :)
Dec 11th 2008 1:34PM Funny thing is that my main character I've been palying with from the beggining, my undead male warlock, I would not change anything about him. The only thing I finally did change was to change his hair to purple to mach my T4 outfit, but not the style mind you.
At the same time, I don't like the barber shop or the character creation page. They don't really make the character look they way they are in the game due to lighting and angles. My BE Male Mage I had to change 6 times in the barber shop, because he looks completely different when he's sitting in the chair vs when he's not. The lighting is different, his face even looks different. And that's just spending a few gold. I can only imagine changing the name gender for $15 and then still not being happy with it.
Dec 5th 2008 9:30AM With all the haste gear around, I'm wondering if affliction warlocks are going to be less attractive in the future then they were in the past. I've always been affliction, so I'm kinda scared that gear is going too bee too haste oriented and I'll be pushed into destruction.
Dec 4th 2008 9:38AM I think we need to quit with the elitist bashing of the game being too easy. Wrath is beautifully designed. There is so much to do there. I'm still level 73 and I got the expansion the day it came out. I love that there are so many dailies while you leveling. Sometimes when you get tired of doing all the quests in the area, you can go and just do dailies.
There is also so much lore in the game, you got to read the quests when you get them and when you turn them in. Stop the WoW masturbation just to get to the end to kill the final boss ASAP. Enjoy the journey and enjoy the game. Maligos is till gonna be there.
So far I've done two dungeons in the game, but it's amazing to see all of the design and the boss fights are unique, even if they are easier then BC.
Finally, if you things are SOOO easy in your T6 gear. Take it off, put on your T4 if you still have it, or make the crafted epics and blues and go do 25 mans, there is a challenge for you.
