Jun 26th 2008 2:57PM Seems like if you love what you are working on, it's easy to consider the competition to be sub-par. /shrug.
I'm not really offended by his statements.
May 22nd 2008 1:44PM Also more:
"Snickerdoodles!" Are our Loc's way of telling us he's dropped a soulwell for our cookies.
For our raid with another guild we have actually channels named after our old main tank (R.I.P) that still persist to this day: HealRugal (for healers), OmgStabRugal (for our DPS). Even if we're not in the raid we talk about our DPS stabbing Rugal. It's endearing.
Our Shadow Priest will ALWAYS pull aggro. His standard response to our questioning is: "Aggro?" or "What's aggro?" He knows exactly what he's doing, but he loves to play it off like he doesn't.
If someone pulls aggro from a distance it's pulling a "name of our old hunter friend." This has persisted for almost 3 years now. Heck, he doesn't even play his hunter anymore.
May 22nd 2008 12:45PM We've taken to calling Felweed, "Failweed".
We have been, for a long while now, blaming everything on "Erf." This player doesn't exist, we made him up one day as a scapegoat. Erf will be our invisible 6th player, or our 11th, but no matter what, he's always "doing it wrong" whatever "it" is at the time.
And thanks to WoWInsider we now say things like "X dont do X like u did"
Apr 16th 2008 2:38PM So, they paid you a bunch of money to post this on your newsite, like it was news, and now we have to read it? Don't you have banner ads we could look at instead? I'm offended. You guys are too good for this crap.
Apr 16th 2008 12:45PM • Is it right for Blizzard's developers to keep their guild associations anonymous? •
In my most humble opinion: Yes, yes a thousand times yes. They have every right to be able to play in peace without people like you, me and every other regular player bothering them. Even, and especially, if they do things that are exceptional.
Apr 9th 2008 1:36PM Please tell me you meant "brought" not "bought a Blood Elf Paladin."
Mar 28th 2008 12:33PM I noticed this too... Was wondering if it was lag. But having tested it in Kara, BGs, PvE mobs and such it's the same thing everywhere. Curious.
Mar 7th 2008 1:45PM I would not be pleased to see in-game advertising. People quit the game for all kinds of reasons: class changes, harassment, etc. But those things are all Blizzard's product being handled a certain way. If there were "pepsi" ads and "pizza hut" stands instead of meat vendors, I would stop paying. This is a recreational video game. We know there will be ads on TV, because there have always been ads on TV for as long as most of us can remember (we mute them, we switch the station, we turn off the TV). We know there will NOT be in-game advertising in World of Warcraft because there has not been. We have a point of reference.
Feb 19th 2008 11:55AM Yes, but Blizz made a PvP cloak obtainable (and better than previous PvP only cloaks) through badges. It's not fair to "geez, some people" at the player for aspiring to obtain the best quality PvP item, even if he/she doesn't like PvE, and can't find a PvE group to pbtain 60 badges. The PvP cloak isn't exactly PvE gear... It's just PvP gear at a PvE vendor. Go figure.
