Dec 15th 2011 6:44PM I want a new pet!!
Nov 29th 2011 11:45AM I am looking forward to the new 5-mans, first and foremost - since that is content my friends and I can do (as we are a smaller guild). Next would be Darkmoon Faire - as it looks fun and there will nice pets/trinkets.
Next would be the LFR, although I will probably wait awhile before using it with our group as the fail rate is bound to be HIGH.
Lastly I guess some of the loot rules and VP changes. It will be nice to be able to cash in on orbs I can't use and be able to gear up some alts that have been caped out gearwise (since they don't raid).
Oct 21st 2011 3:05PM I have not seen the actual price for the 12-month subscription anywhere, can someone confirm the amount for me?
Oct 11th 2011 6:22PM I think this is clearly an attempt by Blizzard to gauge the community reaction to gold selling in WoW. The entire BOE aspect versus the BOA of previous pets/mounts is a clever way to do this versus the model that will be used in Diablo III. I do find it curious how Blizzard had said there were "no plans" to bring the real cash AH to WoW and now this new pet shows up. I don't think this is a coincidence.
I think it is clear that WoW is winding down and so trying new things with it at this point is not outragious or really that damaging to Blizzard. Their numbers are likely to continuing to go down and when Star Wars comes out and Diablo next year, it will only increase... so why not give this a shot now?
Sep 30th 2011 1:55PM I have played with a N52 since it was launched and can't imagine playing WoW without it. Now the only issue is that one key has taken to sticking, which is the forward button. But it doesn't happen very often and is after over 5 years of use - so I would still highly recommend it.
Aug 25th 2011 6:57PM For me, Tanking is not appealing because of all the mechanics involved as well as the perceived leadership role. I have swithced between healing and focusing on keeping the group alive, and dpsing to kill things. Given the consistent lack of tanks and a number of lvl 85 alts who "could" tank, I have not tried it because (A) I don't want to learn all of the different methods for keeping mobs on me (threat mechanics) and (B) that there is an expectation that as a tank you know each pull, kill order etc. I realize that as a dps I should also be aware of the kill order etc., I can be very effective without knowing it and focusing on what the tank is killing. So I guess it is just laziness or peer pressure that keeps me from tanking.
Aug 7th 2011 4:02PM I am finding myself fading away. I did the FL dailies to get a few upgrades and the hypogryff, but can't seem to be motivated to do much else. I would like to raid, but I am in a small guild with not enough players to do it. I have PUG'd a few older raids, but the daily wait to get a group together or grind up another toons gear is less than fun. So... I will probably just log in occasionally until D3 comes out.
Guildies of friends in-game are the thing that would keep me interested, but sadly they are few and far between. Fading away looks to be the one I will choose.
Jun 8th 2011 11:33AM I get lost in deadmines!! Every time... they have made it easier with portals, but gosh it is easy to get turned around looking for the instance entrance.
May 23rd 2011 6:40PM OMG thank you!! I have been stuck with about 30 glyphs to learn and I have refused to pay upwards of $450G per book to learn them. I can now research them (I would be fine having a one-a-day cooldown) and complete this profession - thank you Blizzard!
May 20th 2011 4:33PM Yeah, pass on Blizzcon. It was fun once, but not at the price and not the way they do it with these crazy quick release (press a button or not be able to go). Meeting fellow guildies (win), going to show (pass).
