Jun 13th 2008 10:36AM I tried most all of these and just haven't had any luck. Of the ones I could get to work, DKPsigs is the only one that seemed to update with any regularity but I just didn't like the look of it. Guildlaunch works but updates are so slow. Mini-flash armory can't find any of my alts. X-char doesn't even list my server (Mok'Nathal). *shrugs*

May 12th 2008 11:13AM Most of the comments are good and valid but, frankly, without knowing the basic system specs of the user the advise is being suggested is moot. If the user is on a dual core with 2GB RAM and recent graphics card (that's what it takes to run WoW with all graphics turned up without lag) and is still getting single digit FPS then the advice is valid.
If the user is on a P3 computer or laptop with a generic graphics or memory constrained chip then nothing the user can do will make Shattrath less laggy. A laptop with any form of Speedstep will also slow down and perform terribly if it is overheating. Check your cooling fans.
Low FPS and FPS drop are attributed to system hardware performance.
Mar 6th 2008 9:51AM My play mate is my wife. Our first alts were (her) Warrior and my (Rogue). They are 70 with flying mounts. For kicks, and whenever we need a break from the high level grind, we level our alts. She has a 20 mage and I have a 20 Warlock that are turning out to be a very fun combination to level.
I'm also GL of Twilight Alliance Gamers on Mok'Nathal and we have quite a few family teams like this including four other husband and wife teams and one father and son team (son is 26 years old). Our ranks are rounded out with real life friends and trusted guild members. We play like one big family so all my guild mates really are play mates.
Mar 4th 2008 9:29AM Yep, in Guild Wars, PvP characters are PvP only and start at max level with minimum gear. You have to win matches to unlock more gear.
PvE characters can PvP as they wish with whatever gear they have earned through PvE.
I played GW from the day it released until I switched to WoW a year ago. I had a PvE Necro (Kildred DeVine) that I PvPed with an insane amount of time.
Feb 13th 2008 11:31AM As far as addons go, the diversity of 10 million people means that Blizzard can not make everyone happy all of the time. For everyone that complains about an addon that didn't get integrated into the UI very well there are 10 times as many that are thankful for it.
You can please some people all of the time and you can please all people some of the time but you can't please all people all of the time.
