Encrypted Text: Tips for key binding your Rogue abilities {WoW}

Apr 16th 2009 9:25AM The Belkin N52te is amazing. WASD for moving is terrible, unfortunately. I abandoned that nonsense quite a while ago. With the Belkin I bound movement to the thumb hat button which freed up the entire keyboard portion for macros and abilities. I have more room than I need. Not even a warlock could fill that thing.

I also use a mouse with 15 buttons (all with shift modifiers), so finding room for abilities is no problem. I'm a scroll-wheel whore for spammable abilities so I love having the extra one (for a total of 3...my mouse has 2).

If you still use WASD to move, and complain about not having room for keybinds...there's your problem. At least move your movement keys to RTFG and free up three fingers for binds...just move with one finger and "lean" into your left and right keys for strafing.

Encrypted Text: Hunger for Blood is terrible (to play) {WoW}

Dec 31st 2008 11:30AM I use IceHUD for tracking my SnD, Combo Points, and Hunger for Blood. The bars make it easy to track the stacks and duration visualy.

Only problem is, when I spec for PvP I throw Prep on the same hot key my HfB was on....and I end up blowing a 10 min cooldown when I'm at the mailbox or something out of habit.

Dec 17th 2008 4:37PM @ Lemons:

"HAT's tooltip specifically says it cannot happen more than once in a second"

That is per party member. So you can get up to five combo points instantly even without any other rogues in your party (if each party member gets a crit as well as yourself).

The HaT bug just gives you even more combo points per rogue.

Ask WoW Insider: The ninja debuff {WoW}

Nov 24th 2008 5:45PM @VSU:

If a rogue vanishes....the mobs go on evade and return to their original positions. They wouldn't aggro on you unless you were a pally mining in your consecration or something....and managed to do a little damage to them before he vanished.

Conversely though...when I am fighting a mob next to a quest item and someone comes up to ninja it. I like to vanish so the mob resets and attacks them...then I take the item while they have to fight it. I die laughing every time.

"It wasn't my fault, I was a Zombie..." {WoW}

Oct 23rd 2008 2:30PM Usually...people behave in a game completely differently than they would in real life. Thankfully.

Most of the people who are rude to you in game would NEVER do it to your face. Anonymity is bliss...

Oct 23rd 2008 2:04PM The candy buff doesn't make you THAT big. But kissing Mojo sure will (it does after the patch at least).

Around Azeroth: Super-size me {WoW}

Oct 23rd 2008 2:00PM You're absolutely right Ashley.

You can see mojo at the feet of the of the person you linked a picture of.

We were doing this in Brill the other night over and over. You just /kiss him and you get freakin' HUGE for a second then shrink back down. It looks awesome!

Advice columnist covers WoW addiction {WoW}

Aug 14th 2008 2:22PM It's not the game...it's the person. People with an addictive personality like this could get addicted to anything. WoW is just a convenient excuse for avoiding personal responsibility (an all-too-common problem these days).

Simple as that.
