Apr 15th 2011 12:58PM @bittermang I'm not saying don't support the indie studios. I buy their games all the time. Your comment about pirating is just juvenile, as I never mentioned anything about getting revenge or pirating.
I respect the promotion Valve has given these indie studios on Steam. I was personally just expecting something better after the whole ARG build-up rather then another promotion for the potato sack, which as you mentioned, has already been going on since April 1st.
Thanks for the comment.
Apr 15th 2011 12:27PM I'll play Amnesia: The Dark Descent tonight... at least I have that one! So I'll do my part too!
I'll also check out Audiosurf... haven't checked that one out yet.
Apr 15th 2011 12:14PM It would be one thing if they offered the potato sack free for the weekend, but the fact that they still want almost $40 for this just feels like a blatant money grab. Sleazy marketing.
Apr 15th 2011 12:13PM Lame.
Apr 15th 2011 12:08PM That's stupid. I'm not buying the potato sack and playing those games just to POSSIBLY release the game early. Wow... very disappointed.
Apr 15th 2011 10:30AM "Our advice? FAIL THE TEST, because some of us have to work today."
Yeah, that's stupid because most of us also have to work Tuesday. The difference is, Fridays are usually less busy, and as Rebecca Black has so eloquently informed us,
"Tomorrow is Saturday
And Sunday comes after...wards"
That's much better for the majority of people then a Tuesday release!
So I say let's solve this bitch and play all weekend! WOOT!
Jan 12th 2011 11:32AM Cool post! I really like the Tol Barad dailies. I think I'll be coming here often. :)
Jan 3rd 2011 6:09PM Great post. I don't understand why someone would pay to play this game and then not pay attention and work with the group they just willingly queued up for... It's quite counter-productive, but yet it happens all the time. As a DPS player, it can be quite frustrating when I've just waited in a queue for 35-45+ minutes only to get in a group with one or more players who don't want to learn OR teach. They just want to get quick JP and get angry/ rage-quit when the group wipes.
Bottom line: Work with the group you get! It's in everyone's best interest to work together and teach eachother the fights/ strats. It's more fun that way, and you'll wipe less.
Jan 3rd 2011 8:29AM /roll Please!
