Turn off the new water effects (turn water details down to minimum) for a hugh boost in preformance if you are having framerate issues since the patch.
Also, the cheapest way to upgrade your PC is more memory, followed by a new graphics card. You can get a real bargin on the current ATI 5xxx budget range (eg 5830).
More memory if you have less than 2 gb will be noticable.

I was going to level a shammy as resto in cloth hearlooms which I have lying around, and did not think I would need to grind for a elemental set.
Will I lose the 5% int bonus from level 1 ?
