May 17th 2009 9:50AM There are tons of stuff that could be up there - Olibith, ToTP, Snackys, etc. Just means there's lots of good stuff out there.
I couldn't get the last one to load either, it worked from a non-embed though, and it's like 20 min long a part. Prologue's okay, it's like a trailer for it, but the actual series is much better, imo.
Aug 17th 2008 12:12AM I was gonna say,
-Someone links his faces of wow picture"
but apparently I've already been beaten on 2 of the 3.
May 30th 2008 12:08PM "From warcraftmovies:
I saw that someone “solo’d” Onyxia. Seems cool, but 1+1=2, not 1.
The difference between my kill and Serennia's may seem insignificant but the fact is mine was done with one player in the zone and his wasn't. Paladins can't really do much about that anyway other than cross their fingers and not get a warder in p2. If you dl it and can read my text you see me saying "no warder plis" entering p2, even though both times I have tried and successfully killed Onyxia solo I haven't agro'd a warder. I'm just lucky I guess. But given that luck, mine is indisputable while Serennia has some controversy surrounding his kill."
He didn't get the bugged warder. They both accomplished the same thing, neither killed the add.
May 27th 2008 1:05AM (Quote) "Agreed 100%. It doesn't matter how he tries to word it, the way the game works is that if Onyxia is in the south and the warder is nearby when she deep breaths, the warder joins the fight. It is not a bug, it's how the game works." (End Quote)
You clearly never fought Onyxia pre-BC. That add is *NOT* part of the Onyxia encounter, it is, indeed, a bug. I farmed that instance weekly for over a year, there was *NEVER* a warder pat that is supposed to aggro, no matter where Onyxia went. It is one of many BC bugs that Blizzard has no reason to fix since old content is not priority.
May 1st 2008 7:48PM It's hardly subliminal if you know it's there. It's Olibith. If you don't want to see pervy things with gnomes, don't watch it.
Moviewatch thrives on its drama, and not the machinima kind.
May 1st 2008 7:37PM That's pretty cool there's three warcraft movies in there. I guess Bitfilm doesnt care about copyrighted music in their contest, that opens it up a lot.
Apr 16th 2008 6:12PM I just want to add something about the nature of copyright. Even though you purchased the music for your personal use, that does not count as the legal license to use it in your own video.
Many machinima artists do not care about such things, I'm placing no judgement on your or their use of it either - I just wanted to let you know so that in case you were under the impression that buying a CD gives you the license to use copyrighted material in another form and distribute it, it doesn't.
Apr 16th 2008 3:19PM I enjoyed it. I did like the voice acting, and some of the locations were really beautiful.
Only things that confused me a bit were the superpowers they seemed to possess, with the flying and the Inuyasha jumping. It definitely can work in a movie, maybe set it up differently so we understand why they have these powers? That might add feasibility to it instead of being slightly distracting.
Also, I think using some shadows would have helped it with depth, but that's just a minor aesthetic thing.
Overall, I'm looking forward to more of your work. Machinima is by no means an easy task.
Apr 2nd 2008 6:59PM If you want to watch professional movies, go to the movie theatre and PAY for them. Amateur movies are made as free entertainment - they have limited resources and are often someone working hard to express themselves. It may not be professional quality, but it's someone's work.
Go pay for professional movies and stop being so overly critical of amateur ones.
