Oct 21st 2010 7:40PM If you were to arrive at 8am on Friday morning, Collix, to pick up your ticket, you would:
1) get in a line that is ONLY for picking up tickets
2) probably literally have 1000 people ahead of you already
3) be lucky to get your ticket before 10am. Probably closer to 11. Yes, they DID get a little faster last year, but they were still only servicing about 200-500 people an hour
So, that's answer one: The line for getting your ticket is totally separate from the line to get in.
Now, let's assume you get there at 9:30am and you ALREADY HAVE your ticket from the night before (or you made it thru the other line really fast). You're still probably far, far back in line; close to the street (I'd point you at an overhead map, but...) and there's at least 2000 people in front of you, who have been there since 6 am. By this time, probably closer to 4000. By the time you get in the doors, you'll see your alternate universe self finally getting his ticket, and wondering WTF is going on, since everyone seems to still be outside.
Yeah, Blizzcon is a blast. Mail out your tickets one of these days, people. :)
Oct 14th 2008 9:34PM The FIRST thing I'll be doing is putting CT back together; I've cleared all my interface/wtf directories, and installed the 3.0.2 version of what I can, but putting back up all 60 or 70 of my buttons and getting my UI back in order, is primary.
