Blizzard acknowledges TOR's impact on WoW {Massively}

Mar 20th 2012 3:45PM LOL at the people pretending Swtor is still relevant.

Its a fine MMO for those who like it, just like Allods is a fine MMO for those who like it

;)

And yes, the sub number is bleeding out despite everything Bioware does to pretend its not.

The Soapbox: Voice chat is the worst thing ever {Massively}

Mar 20th 2012 3:43PM Raid leader issuing orders trough voice chat is fine.

However, when a whole guild uses it and then doesn't bother to type or read anymore, it just becomes laziness

Mar 19th 2012 8:25PM WoW is actually the top dog on the market still, people downvoting are simply haters.

WoW has the numbers to back up its statement of 'best" on the market.

Sure, Rift is great, Swtor has nice voice overs, Age of Conan has boobies, GW2 has nice combat, LOTRO has hobbits, Everquest 2 has features beyond everybody else.

But WoW has cold hard numbers and big pile of cash.

My problem with Rift is its character models/races

They're just so goddamn bleh. It's a great game, polished, with one of top dev teams around, but that character creation screen just kills my will to play every single time I tried it.

Just an esemple, look at their arms, every race, both gender, they're beyond flabby, it's like their body is made from rubber or something, no muscle tone at all, not even on the "big" race.

While I'm fine with some races looking more "normal", not everybody in-game should look out of shape, my Tank toon shouldn't look like he's overweight and needs to hit the gym.

MMO Week in Review: TORsy and iconic {Massively}

Thats how everybody feels at first, weird at first, then awesome, then tedious, then slowly becomes a pain, then just plain boring.

Thats the swtor cycle. Of course having a crapload of missing features doesn't help keep you hooked after the first 1-2 months.

Please, don't even try to compare Swtor to Rift.

Rift is one of the most polished games on the market with devs that actually care to listen to their community and act on it in a timely fashion.

Rift's dev team has brought the kind of service to their community that even puts Blizzard to shame at times, so no, Swtor doesn't have crap on it.

For the record, I don't play Rift anymore and I'm not a big fan of the game for aestethic reasons, but even I can admit that Rift is up there in the top 3 best MMOs to play in right now.

You're right, who will write all those articles about the Swtor team patting themselves on the back every 2 weeks.

Sry bub but you're definitly a fanboy for defender all those crappy games when the facts show the opposite of what you "believe".
