Ready Check: Guide to Naxxramas (Kel'Thuzad) {WoW}

Jan 26th 2009 8:56PM Druids are immune to polymorph while mind controlled yes.

Guardian of Icecrown tanks also can and often will be mind controlled, you should tank them close together so you can taunt them when they run around murdering healers.

Jan 26th 2009 8:13PM has the numbers on the Kel'Thuzad encounter, even though wowhead isn't updated.

Single target frostbolt is ~10,000 in 10-man and ~30,000 in 25-man unresisted.

You might want to include that chains of kel'thuzad WIPES ALL THREAT. DPS can pull off very easily and eat a 30K frostbolt to the face.

Ready Check: Guide to Naxxramas (Sapphiron) {WoW}

Jan 26th 2009 5:06PM I think 10-man Kel'Thuzad is easier, but 25-man Kel'Thuzad is probably the hardest fight in the zone, not to say that any of it is particularly hard but Kel'Thuzad is more likely to wipe you.

Ready Check: Guide to Naxxramas (Sapphiron) {WoW}

Jan 24th 2009 9:50PM Staying in the chill won't work for mediocre guilds. Assuming your DPS and healers aren't geared and aren't amazingly skilled you really are going to want to move out of the chill to kill this boss.

One Boss Leaves: Illidan vs C'Thun wrap up {WoW}

Apr 16th 2008 12:35PM You need 25+ 70's to get to, nevermind kill, Kel'Thuzad.

One Boss Leaves: Illidan vs Kel'Thuzad wrap up {WoW}

Apr 14th 2008 6:10PM It's been a long road, going through Nefarian, Archimonde, Ragnaros, Sapphiron and Illidan. No easy wins.

My opinion is as follows.

Two Bosses Enter: Illidan vs Kel'Thuzad {WoW}

Apr 13th 2008 1:29AM Perfect picture for Kel'Thuzad's victory in my opinion.

Two Bosses Enter: Illidan vs Kel'Thuzad {WoW}

Apr 6th 2008 8:58PM First of all, if we're keeping Shear then I believe that Frostbolt's slow would work on Illidan.

So Kel'Thuzad can kite Illidan around.

Enslave the Flames of Azzinoth (Keep in mind Chains of Kel'Thuzad is an enslave effect).

When Illidan changes to Demon Form he's immobile and can be hit by shadow fissure which is incredibly damaging.

Shadow Fissure has unlimited vertical height, see the Sapphiron/Kel'Thuzad comments for proof.

When Maiev comes in it's all over.

Illidan has no chance.

Two Bosses Enter: Sapphiron vs Kel'thuzad {WoW}

Mar 24th 2008 6:10PM I think people are putting too much stock in Sapphiron's enrage. It's not melee, just his frost aura (which while powerful against 40 raid members wouldn't do much to 75% frost resistant Kel'Thuzad even enraged).

Shadow Fissure just does far too much pure damage and Sapphiron is too massive to move out of it.
