Jan 13th 2012 5:39PM COMPLETELY agree. Of course server choice matters! Or rather, server TYPE still matters, and always will.
If you want to roleplay, you need an RP server. And if you want to avoid griefing and moronic time-wasters, you need to avoid PvP servers.

Nov 27th 2011 8:53AM Real roleplaying works best in face-to-face tabletop sessions, where you can actually think and talk like your character and interact with the other players and NPCs socially. Online games, fun as they are, can't compete with that.
WoW is a fun online adventure game, but I really don't consider it "roleplaying."
