Apr 4th 2012 12:47PM DPS and Tank specs use agility. Healer uses Intellect. Monks have an ability that is supposed to even out the difference between 1H and Dual-wield, so they could probably use either. Of course, the min-maxers will determine that only one choice is acceptable. (I'm having trouble finding a list of current Monk abilities anywhere on the interent, and I forget the name of the ability.)
Apr 4th 2012 12:40PM Ethereals as a player race always confuses me when some mentions it. Ethereals don't have faces, so faces would need to be added. Ethereals have the bandage-looking clothing, which would be covered by player armor. Once these distinguishing features are removed, would they even look like Ethereals at all?

Apr 4th 2012 12:01PM I can confirm that I mailed my Monk the 2H heirloom mace and he could not equip it. That was the first week of Beta, and of course things change every day. That's why I don't like to confirm Beta info unless I have checked that very day to be sure.

Apr 3rd 2012 5:19PM Here is what I mean. The dps Monk has 11 direct damaging abilities now in Beta at level 90.
4 just do damage
2 have a slow/root effect
1 has a silence/interrupt
3 have a stun
1 has a knockback
Plus 1 'death grip' type spell that does no damage. The rest of the spells are buffs, resses, cures, etc.
