Jun 8th 2008 10:02AM Its all just smoke and mirrors, I don't feel bad about playing WoW, I have never missed feeding myself or going out through playing, and its something fun to do with online gentlefolks ;).
As to all this "end of the world" horsepies, there are always going to be those saying "NEW STUFF=APOCALYPSE" if it happened with Albert Spangler in the 1800's then it will certainly happen nowadays, cinema was supposed to make everyone kill their parents, D&D was supposed to start satan and the theatre was a dreadful and evil tool of enjoyment ;)
May 31st 2008 11:48AM Excuse me, but when you are trying to balance the constant criticism of 10 million people, and trying to balance things quite well I imagine things are a bit too tricky to think about introducing a new class. No other online game has ever been this successful, I would imagine it is stupidly difficult to find a slot into which to put new classes and keep everything fair.
Fair enough I WOULD like to see new hero classes in the future, but I am not going to go down in a rage simply because blizzard are doing a thorough (can't spell, my apoligise) job of making a class.
May 30th 2008 1:43PM and this is why you fail, simplistic things like roflmao (if you could spell it) are funny, but this is a different blinkin' ball game :D. Loved it and I would certainly want to see "lieutenenat colenel virtue" on my server.
May 20th 2008 4:25PM I would SWEAR to you I saw this exact same post on the US "off topic discussion" forums... Thats rather freaky :P
When you say its going to draw "many" people to it, how many do you mean? Because Blizzard is still making a profit if a large enough number leave to make AoC financially viable.
Personally I like my World of Warcraft, my friends are here, my family plays here. I don't even go off on another server because I find that I know no one :D, so I won't be trying AoC, but good luck to it.
If I can offer a side note, where is the idea that there is some sort of grand competition between MMO's (especially fantasy ones) coming from? Because we are all just gamers, no need to insult people who aren't playing your EXACT fantasy MMO?
May 20th 2008 6:53AM 1. This baby is STILL ALIVE!
2. It was obvious that there was not that much bleeding, otherwise people would have rushed her to the hospital, or better yet "called the paramedics"
Just because you are trying to make a (quite nice actually) experience something that they should be ashamed of is hilarious, personally I think it will be a great little story to tell the family when the kids about 20 ;D.
May 19th 2008 8:08AM When I played warcraft 2 at my cousins house, I failed at it completly (I was 10 so I have an excuse) but I loved the fact that you could play as the "bad guys" :)
May 19th 2008 8:02AM Deary me, I already put up a "jokey" note on this issue (see 36 I think) but seriously, this doesn't require the rank hysteria that it seems to have inspired.
Its a relationship, of course there are going to be little idyosyncracies in it, and personally I think that this is probably just a small exaple of "please stop doing that or I won't have time to play" not "OMFG DO THIS AN I QUIT WOW", most likely both zach and his wife wouldn't have married someone who would do something like that.
Also, to all the people who are pointing and laughing at "lol whipped" comments, I believe I should echo the term of the original poster "Shut the Fuck up", most likely you are (and this IS a gross generalisation so please bring me up on it) liable to flare into acne upon seeing a woman, or panic if one were to say your name aloud.
May 19th 2008 6:17AM I think its an elaborate double bluff ;), Hes using his writing on wowinsider as a bargaining chip in and of itself, by talking about the bargaining chip issue... Either that or I am becoming truly paranoid
Apr 10th 2008 9:10AM You mean admiring someone with social skills and a lovely personality is less romantic than a simple physical attraction based soley on feelings from your libido? In that case, yes you are very old fashioned, 3000 BC may be more your time period
