Jul 15th 2008 6:49AM Hmmmm.
For my taste, the relevant information (threat meter, unit frames, action bars for cooldowns and such) is way too dispersed over the whole screen. I always try to keep them in one place, ideally in the bottom center, so I don't have to move my eyes too much. I remember the post "Center your tanking" here on WoW Insider, it described the problem nicely - having to spread your attention over the whole screen rather than focusing on one spot really impairs your performance, be it tanking, healing, or DPSing.
Just my 2 Euro-cents, anyway ;)
May 13th 2008 6:08AM Just a quick heads up, the European login screen news already state that 2.4.2 will be applied on wednesday, so it's safe to say that 2.4.2 will definitely drop today in the US.
Feb 23rd 2008 9:08PM Well... it would be nice if you'd actually LINK the thread for all of us to read.
Pretty please, with sugar on top?
Feb 4th 2008 5:21PM If you're looking for a serious dictionary, try the WoWInsider link in the above post...
Anyways, lots of fun. Had a good laugh or two there, thanks for sharing (especially with us EU players who don't read the US forums that much)!
Jan 10th 2008 6:45PM "Loremeister", gotta love that... :-)
On topic, I really enjoyed the first Blizzcast. As you say, the interview with Samwise is far more entertaining than the one with Jeff, but that mostly comes from the fact that there really wasn't anything NEW about the infos he gave us. That's probably because they recorded that stuff some time ago. I'm fine with that, because as I said, I enjoyed it. It's good to hear some people from Blizzard talk about the game and their work, something we EU-gamers seldom get (traveling to BlizzCon or stuff like that is... well, expensive from here). So all in all, enjoyable for me, but I agree that there wasn't any "new news" there for most of the players that scour the (US) forums or read WoW news sites on a regular basis.
