Dec 12th 2011 10:17AM Just wait til half the raiders quit raiding with the guild and just do LFR, there is a 130+ page thread about just that on the forums and blue post gushing over how happy they are.
Dec 9th 2011 11:52PM don't even try to be smart, database and code each item, what bullshit.
The info is already on the item, the stats, you just need a lookup table to match stats to class/spec.
Nov 22nd 2011 2:25AM Sam and Frodo after killing the balrog Illidan, saved the world from the evil Athas who wanted domination over the world.
On the way? home, they killed Smaug's son Deathwing. The just before reaching the shire they ran into a bunch of Kung Fu Pandas.
Sam and Frodo hung themselves from the great party tree. The end.
Nov 21st 2011 8:36PM Know waht was great about WoW insider, it's non affiliation with the official program that made it blizzard approved. And the reason was supposed to be to maintain objectivness and journalistic integrity.
Now it seems that decline in page view and ad hits have achieved the same result, another cheerleader site for Blizzard.
Nov 19th 2011 1:25AM It's not trolling if its the truth
Blizzards own you tube channel
click see more text under the video box. Blizzard wrote this not me. Go wowwiki the villains.
Yes the heroes or Warcraft will be saving beer from rabbits and monkeys while playing teddybears.
Really do you think I could make this up.
Nov 18th 2011 11:50PM Out of the nine total dungeons planned in the initial release of World of Warcraft's fourth expansion, Mists of Pandaria, the last of which is the Stormstout Brewery... and his brewery has been overrun by the Verming and Hozu.
Or overrun with rabbits and monkeys. Really? The best thing they could come up with for the top dungeon in initial MoP is rabbits and monkeys.
I played WoW for 6.5 years non stop, I felt kinda sorry for the people who liked the pandas, I thought they just didn't know better.
But now I will laugh in the face of people who still play WoW after this.
Nov 18th 2011 9:30PM @Joseph Smith
And only those glued to Blizzcon had it close to the same time, those presented with the news through other channels, and blizzards own web site, did too?
It is rather useless talking to fanboys, who at blizzards wistle, trot over and lap up whatever slop had been dumped in the bowl, while wagging theirs tails for more.
More people dislike MoP than anything blizz has done before, and if you can somehow twist losing customers, revenue, and market share into a plus then good for you.
But, if 50% of who's left IS NOT willing to spend $400 to play pandas for 2 years, then blizzard is going to come out of this with 25% of their original subscribers.
And what kind of awesomeness is that going to pay for?
Nov 18th 2011 9:14PM @Al
US political polls are done with 3000 out of a country of what 300 million? They also can choose not to participate when called so it has the same non participation bias that those who chose not to voice an opinion on youtube have.
40,000 out of 10.3 million, or more accurately 40,000 out of the 5.1 million NA/EU market is a HUGE sample.
Nov 18th 2011 9:08PM @Joseph Smith
And you speak for everybody who bought an annual pass, then had MoP dumped on them huh?
It pretty fair to assume that about 50% of those who did the annual pass expected more than pandas in an xpac.
The next expansion on the schedule is end of 2013, if you add it up between now and then it's about $400 for pandas.
Nov 18th 2011 8:56PM Well you won't see it on the blizzard sanitized forums, but the trailer on Blizzards youtube channel has had 50% dislikes for weeks.
So yeah after spending 10s of millions on Cataclysm, and losing 14% of the customers, which can only be called a failure...
Blizzard had one and exactly one chance to hit a home run with the MoP expansion. 20% dislikes would have been a abject failure, and it's 50% dislikes.
No other trailer for an expansion from Blizzard has more than 5% dislikes.
So yeah cata was fail, and MoP is fail harder.
