AGDC09: Blizzard talks about world behind Warcraft {WoW}

Sep 17th 2009 4:20PM This is pretty cool stuff. The server side of things must be mind-boggling in a lot of respects. I remember at BlizzCon they showed a bit of their network monitoring center, and it basically looked like NASA.

Breakfast Topic: Which NPCs cause a double take? {WoW}

Sep 7th 2009 10:26AM The Draenei in the Honor Hold inn, Klatu and Barada. Klaatu barada niktu, Gort!

Keybindings and how to change them {WoW}

Sep 7th 2009 6:39AM Isn't moving sideways while holding the right mouse button the same as strafing?

Strange.. these movements have become so second nature that I find it hard to think about exactly how they work.

Breakfast Topic: Your Cataclysm Bucket List {WoW}

Sep 4th 2009 8:25AM I think the old Loremaster will be a Feat of Strength (and unobtainable), and 'replaced' by a new version. Maybe it will even give a different title, so we can do all those old zones *again*.

Personally, I should probably get The Diplomat.

Around Azeroth: Fjord of the apes {WoW}

Sep 2nd 2009 12:28PM Planet of the Apes was probably at its best when the Simpsons did it.

Doctor Zaius, Doctor Zaius!

Flavor names for new race/class combos {WoW}

Aug 27th 2009 3:43PM I don't quite understand the hate against tauren paladins, or the cries of "lollore". I think it's probably the most interesting one. Human hunters? Sure, a human can shoot an arrow. But Tauren paladins will actually *have* an interesting backstory to explain their existence, that's more than "oh, some of them already did that anyway, but now you can play it".

The Blood Knights have already shown (pre-Sunwell, anyway) that paladins aren't necessarily followers of the same Holy Light. Even Draenei probably have a very different idea than the humans and dwarves. I think that Tauren equatin the Sun with something like the Holy Light is quite reasonable.

BlizzCon 2009: WoW Q&A live blog {WoW}

Aug 22nd 2009 1:12PM Question: So you're dealing with Gilneas and other 'forgotten' zones now, but there still are island nations like Kul Tiras, Crestfall and Zuldare that haven't been featured. Lost in the Cataclysm or what?

BlizzCon 2009: WoW Q&A live blog {WoW}

Aug 22nd 2009 1:08PM Yeah, I have no idea what is up with that. It's bad enough not getting any of the Hall C stuff, but just starting an hour late seems completely pointless.

Thankfully all this is an extra to getting another murloc pet ;)

BlizzCon 2009: WoW Q&A live blog {WoW}

Aug 22nd 2009 1:05PM Looking at my schedule, Q&A is set at 10am PDT, and DirectTV starts at 11am PDT. It says the Diablo Q&A starts at 11:30am PDT, which is the first thing on the DirectTV schedule.
