Feb 19th 2008 9:32AM I think in such situations a guild is really helpful especially when you raid more than 80% of your time on the main. In this situation you can use other guild members to fill in on the proffessions you don't have. I play a spriest and thus want tailoring which only leaves me with one other, there I took Alchemy because poting is crucial part to keep up spell rotation. Now with buying consumables ready of AH you lose the benefit of procs with elixirs, pots flask etc. So i buy the mats and make it myself. Maybe WoTLK will give a 3rd proffession to have on toon.
Feb 19th 2008 9:07AM Although I see the added value of these type of addons, this game is still a MMORPG. RPG's have adventures and part of the fun is also to discover while traveling through the land, speaking with NPCs and finding new treasures. If i read people talk about efficient and time is money all good and tru but than don't play this game. It is and will always be a time sink. I believe you will take away the fun, excitment and spirit of the game if your avatar runs only from A to B to C etc without focusing on the lore and the environment built into this game. You make sound questing sound like as it is only a means for leveling but in fact it is also to explore the game. If you are hot about adventure games try to use your brain first and if you are stuck use a guide for the last bit. NOT start with a guide and occasionally use your brain because we all know on average people don't do use the brain than anymore out of convinience.
just my 2 cents
