Blizzard announces Pre-Wrath content patch {WoW}

Aug 26th 2008 4:07AM I doubt very much deathknights will be in this content patch at all, first off, I assume the DK start area Ebon Hold most likely is on the "Northrend" World server, much like the Draenei/Bloodelf zones are part of the "Outland" world server.

Inscription to 375 is a different story since it uses a lot of Existing materials, they can add inscription vendors/trainers quite easily.

15 Minutes of Fame: Retiring player goes out with a BOOM {WoW}

Aug 5th 2008 8:41AM I remember Boom from back when I played on Argent Dawn US , I quit the server about 2 months ago to reroll EU WoW (RL reasons). This story definately brings up a lot of memories from Argent Dawn

Breakfast Topic: Goals before Wrath {WoW}

May 13th 2008 9:22AM I'd like to finish Sunwell with my current guild before Wrath hits, other then that, gotta make plans on what to do a month or 2 before it releases (most likely gonna reroll mains, depending on class changes and such)

Breakfast Topic: Do we need a third faction? {WoW}

Apr 24th 2008 9:50AM It would be cool to have a new faction of some sort but with the end of BC (the main burning legion theme xpack) coming in sight I wouldn't want it to be the legion, or scourge (Wrath xpack), it would have to be something new but truly evil (no fuzzy pandarens).

They would have to add a new continent (we don't know what's on the other side of azeroth) or dimension (portal like outland or something completely new), there are still many worlds noted in lore that aren't in WoW that could house those new factions with cities and all, however with the way game is right now you'd need 5 new races (or a totally cool mix of existing neutral races, goblins are kinda cool) that would be capable of playing 10 classes (to keep the balance even imo).

All in all, it would be cool but too much work for now, until they really feel level caps aren't the way to open new massive amounts of content anymore and focus on lore/items/dungeons etc at maybe 5 level increase xpansions or just pure content packs with no level boost (this does not mean skills or professions could increase or added new).

World of Papercraft encore... and it kicks major hiney! {WoW}

Apr 15th 2008 9:48AM That's some awesome stuff there.

15 Minutes of Fame: Slow road to max level {WoW}

Apr 15th 2008 9:39AM He's from my server, even tho I haven't heard of molii, it makes my view on the whole roleplaying thing a lot more respectful.

I don't RP myself, however I wish I could get into some more serious RP in my offtime. But being in a guild where some people think we are selfish and elitist people cause we raid endgame makes it very hard.

Netherstorm summoning restriction to be removed {WoW}

Feb 4th 2008 5:25AM Since they allow people to get summoned inside instances, you coulda have summoned them without a flying mount in the first place in 2.4 , cause I doubt the requirement check would check for having a flying mount or flight form in your possession.

People used to use noggenfogger and somehow slowfall to the mechanar/botanica instances in beta before 70, but they fixed that by adding the cooldown (gone now) and changing the duration of the slowfall of it.

BC has been out long enough that this change to summons will have no negative effect. So, a good change, even while I'm not really affected by it.

Spiritual Guidance: Level 1 to 5 on your new Priest {WoW}

Feb 4th 2008 5:17AM While this game is super easymode, especially leveling at low levels, there's always people new to this game that might see this, no reason to bash this blog so hard for no reason.

If you think if people need help getting to level 5 and think they are "omgwtfnooblearn2play" grow up imo. If you don't like it, don't read it.

Blood Sport: Warrior-Druid overpowered? {WoW}

Feb 1st 2008 5:25AM Very little mages in 2v2 isn't a big surprise seeing how easy it is to interrupt our heavy damage simply by either putting melee on us(theres a ton of ways to get out of freezes and ice slows those days) or one of the many many interrupt abilties.

I haven't played 2s enough as a mage to really know all of it though. I enjoy 5v5 a lot more, so do others apparently to those charts.

Mana also limits mages a fair bit in 2s, since cause we're not really left alone, can't drink/evocate that much.

However when we ARE left alone, between icy veins/frostbite-shatter combos, we can do some serious burst damage still while locking out a healer with a CS macro.

Resilience/High Stam arena is gear easier then ever to obtain those days so potential pom pyro or arcane power/frost builds are getting less and less attractive.
