Nov 9th 2008 8:13PM Regarding your comments about Malygos' possibly being "evil", I'd like to think of him more as an anti-villain - one who believes his cause is righteous and for the good of the people, but his means are considered to be cruel by those outside of his chosen caste. He obviously believes that something has to be done about the rampancy of magic, but the way he goes about it pisses a lot of people off.
Now for a question. Whenever there's war, there's profits to be made, so I can't help but think the Venture Co. or some other profiteering faction is at work in Northrend. Any confirmation on this?
Oct 1st 2008 8:42PM Takeshi's Castle inspired level (Takeshi's Castle is a Japanese game show like Ninja Warrior)
Sep 22nd 2008 6:35AM I really don't care about moral choices in videogames in general, anymore. I prefer to play characters in the shades of grey, but these games never cater specifically to that sect of alignment.
BTW, please let there be Force Adepts in KotOR Online. Jedis are becoming over-rated, and they are too "goody-goody" for me. Vice versa with Dark Jedi/Sith.
Aug 31st 2008 1:05PM Are we going to see more Polearm love in Northrend? The prospect of a BElf paladin with a scythe in Judgement Armor was something that exuded awesomeness in the back of my mind, so I was wondering if any cool new Polearms will be appearing in the expansion.
Jul 27th 2008 12:45PM Maybe Bungie -is- working on a new Oni game...and its being published by 2k Games (Take 2)? ;)
Jul 18th 2008 8:13AM Personally, I'm looking forward to off-beat achievements geared towards the more out-there stuff. While most of what I'd like to see is general achievements, I'd love to see exploration achievements for those off the beaten path areas such as Cut-throat Alley and the Shrine of the Fallen Warrior.
...is it wishful thinking to ask for an achievement for rolling on an RP server? "lol wuts RP?" xD
Jul 9th 2008 8:57AM My old standby for many games, including WoW, has been the zBoard MERC. Instead of having to fumble with interchanging keysets all the time, I just open up a program and switch to a different 'mod'. Granted, you can do that with the general purpose keyset for the standard zBoard, but WoW only works with the premium keyset made for it, and not the general keyset.
As for the mouse, I rock a Razor Diamondback 3G. Now if I could just find a good mousepad...
Jan 16th 2008 8:34AM I would really love an MMO with a fantasy-steampunk setting. I know that most mainstream fantasy titles have a steampunk element to them, including Gnomish inventions in basically every fantasy setting ever, but one where the inventions aren't the byproduct of random tinkering would make a lot more sense.
Also, the gameplay would have to be like Lineage II/Guild Wars meets a never-ending game of Battlefield (pick any of them) with PvE content that directly and indirectly affects the PvP gamespace. That would be great.
