Dec 9th 2011 2:15PM I understand that using the exploit was perhaps not fair to the player base but how come Blizzard never takes any responsibility for these incidents? They control the entire enviroment of WoW. They set the conditions and have full control. Why isn't this on them? If the guilds were using a program to cheat hack then yes punish them but these situations are fully Blizz's doing.
It's like when that guy got that GM only chest piece that killed anything so he used it and played around with it. Who wouldn't have? So rather than take responsibility for the mistake Blizz put the onus on the player saying he should have turned it and notified a GM blah blah blah. Not once did they take responsibility. Blizz has a hard time taking responsibility.
May 21st 2011 2:00PM Hit refresh right at 10 , just selected one ticket ,and wound up 3070 in line. Got the ticket.
Feb 14th 2011 4:12AM I think some of you ladies forgot to ask the all too important question when you met your would-be spouse.
"Are you an orphan?"
Dec 25th 2009 6:13PM One of the biggest problems I have with WoW social conduct are the people that are rude and crude only because that have a veil of anonymity. A true test of character is being a good and decent person because it's the right thing. To be a rude and crude person because you can get away with it is the mark of a coward.
I have to say the almost complete lack of being able to hold these people to account for their behavior is rather aggravating for me and I would think for a lot of people.
On the subject of the LFG, as long as we get through the instance without too much trouble I don't have a problem carrying people. We've all done it at some point whether it is strangers or guildies running us through instances.
Oct 24th 2009 8:48PM People who complain that there is no more CC remind of a friend whose in the car with you when you get pulled over and start arguing with the cop. You just want them to STFU.
Aug 15th 2009 10:57PM This is a timeless classic. I watched it again the other day and still laughed. I remember when we were raiding Ony that no one wanted to get into the whelp cave or they would catch so much crap from everyone.
Apr 30th 2009 7:42PM What a bunch of poindexters some of you are. It is hardly the worse thing you can do in game. I agree with the sentiments wishing the Blizz had the same diligence on getting goldfarmers and account hackers.
Blizz has no ground to stand on. Blizz is acting like a parent who puts a beer keg in their teenage kids room and is shocked that the kid and their friends drank the beer. The answer is that they shouldn't have given it to them in the first place.
Apr 30th 2009 7:35PM This is Blizz's fault wholly. He used the item but seems he ws measured in what he did. I mean cmon, it would be fun and funny to have that shirt for a day. It seems the tings he did with it were fairly benign.
Though Blizz has been getting better, they still have a lot to learn in customer service. Karate and his guildies should all be restored with an apology. Some supervisor is just trying to cover their butts right now cuz they screwed the pooch. This is the same Blizz that get's an F from the BBB.
Oct 30th 2008 9:08PM I like the idea of HK kill brackets. If you linked that to PvP rank might be a good idea.
The old inviting people to the raid was at least a way to punish someone that was being a putz. The move to multi server though mostly good eliminated the server peer pressure that could help keep problem children to a minimum.
I used to try to tell people how to win an AB but nowadays I don't even try.
Too many noobs, especially on Alliance that have no idea how to win it and don't care to learn either. I've been playing in the BG's for a few years now. I know a few things. The strategy put forward in the article is the one I have subscribed to. With a good team they can tell you to come reinforce or go to a vulnerable point.
The biggest piece of advice to people in any of the BG's is be in a position to interupt the cap.
Oct 23rd 2008 5:14PM Always thought it was cool the way Blizz made something special for this deserving kid.
God bless him and condolances to his family.
