The Lunar Festival's greatest prize: Rep! {WoW}

Feb 12th 2008 9:46AM Like I said in a previous post about the lunar festival, got all coins with my lvl 67 priest. Only died in Ogrimmar when some lvl 70 hordies helped out the guards. Without their help I could've just run in and out without harm. That death was pretty ok though because I still needed the coin close to the graveyard. Spirit healer rez, get coin and on my way to Thunderbluff. Also hard to get the coin, but once I had it, jumped down and used levitate. Funny when one of the guards still wanted to chase me and seeing him fall down the cliff :-)

Blood Pact: The real Lunar Festival {WoW}

Feb 8th 2008 9:57AM Yay, got all 50 coins together yesterday, took me about two evenings of running around the world. Also helped kill Omen on 6-2-2008, so I pretty much got all the stuff for Lunar Festival now. Only thing is, I want the tailoring pattern for my priestie, but at the same time, I want to keep my coins :(. It was a fun journey though, especially running in and out of the Horde cities.

Breakfast Topic: When did you get hooked? {WoW}

Jan 22nd 2008 9:02AM I played the game during press beta and a month afterwards untill lvl 26 with a Night Elf Hunter. Then I stopped because I didn't want to pay for the game and had too many other games to play. Never looked back at it untill one day at work (work at a game developer, QA) our department told me they had started out with new chars and everyone had to start playing (not really had to, but still). I figured I might as well join cause here I am, a gamer for many years but never experienced higher lvl content in WoW and working on an MMO. That can't be right. Long story short, started playing again in october 2007 and currently at 62 with my priest and also rolling a rogue. Play every evening after work and may as well admit I'm getting addicted :)

Forum Post of the Day: Auction houses go faction neutral {WoW}

Jan 18th 2008 11:54AM I haven't been playing WoW long enough to make a very informed comment but I have to agree with a lot of people in here. We are two factions that don't get along, why would we start trading with eachother? Then again, compared to the real world it's not at all farfetched. Irak got its weapons from the US as did Al Qaida.

One of the problems I possibly see (though I'm not sure I completely understand the idea of shared AH) is, what if one faction buys out everything from the other faction? Or at least, all the epic gear. The other faction would not find the good gear anymore and would become dominated :-) Then again, this has probably been taken into account in one way or another.
