Why too many currencies actually helps progression {WoW}

Mar 6th 2009 12:53PM Makes sense to me... already the way the emblems are tiered keeps me uninterested in 10 man runs for the most part.

Are Paladins going to get nerfed? {WoW}

Feb 19th 2009 3:48AM I play a ret paladin, and I usually do pretty well in raid dps (posted 5.7k on patch) but that's probably because I'm decked in ilvl213 epics and my weapon is Betrayer of Humanity, NOT because paladin dps is OP. Pure dps classes—that is, classes that do not also have the capability of healing—output more damage than me if we're equally geared for the most part.

I can understand the warning signs from holy pally arena representation, but I hope they don't hit ret too hard.

Holy Paladin goggles added in patch 3.0.8 {WoW}

Jan 20th 2009 1:58PM Dropped Engineering a few days ago for jewelcrafting. The epic DPS goggles lasted me all of about six hours til I realized the Spiked Titansteel Helm was better (you don't even need the helm to track nodes anymore, the Belt-clipped Spynoculars do the trick and stack with a belt buckle socket).

The only redeeming quality about engineering was that I could make a ton of gold farming eternals, but unfortunately, if I just want money from farming I'll take a real gathering profession...

Apple customizing MacBooks for K-12? {TUAW.com}

Nov 9th 2007 2:36PM @ Mr. Stafford — "I'd like to know what type of sticker destroys the laptop."

It's not the sticker that destroys the laptop. It's the attempted removal of it... My high school provided all students with iBooks (I'd assume now they've upgraded to MacBooks) that were loaned throughout the duration of their school career. These laptops had a metal "sticker" attached that were basically unremovable. Even if the removal didn't destroy it, a big ugly mark on the computer might deter potential buyers of hot merchandise.
