Dec 2nd 2010 2:39PM Orbs are hop, so you are going to have to buy the orb from an engineer but I think by 4.2. The orbs will be boe.
Sep 17th 2010 1:01PM So if Surv, is supposed to be using Cobra Shot instead of SS then what is the point of the Improved Serpent Sting if we never refresh Serpent Sting(as long as we use CS once in 6 seconds).

I did some numbers a couple of weeks ago(before the PTR went up) this is what I came up with:
I figure that it will be the 11th, the 18th of August at the latest.
They are not going to want the patch to take way from the news of the next Expac.
Mar 18th 2009 10:22AM I am inbetween 2 and 3. I have done all 10 and 25 raids(in wrath) but my guild is very relaxed not hyperstrict on raid protocols.
But personally I just don't get achievments. To me they don't add any depth to the game it is just another grind. What is frustrating is being in a raid where the raid leader kepts trying to get achievement X.
On another point, I don't get hardmodes either. I think they are kind of a cop out for blizzard. Currently Sarth3D is the peak of progression shouldn't it be Mal. I just don't think going from Mal to Sarth3D or Sarth2D to 3D is the same thing as going from Illdari Council to Illidan. It is a boss and story progression(at least for me).
It will be really lame when Icecrown comes out if some other boss with addition mobs is harder than Arthas.
Jul 28th 2008 8:15PM This is my understanding of the BC expansion timeline.
Beta Signup was late Sept (at least public)
Beta Started mid to late Oct
Don't know when Beta ended but patch 2.01 was release First week of Dec
Then BC Mid Jan
If we follow the same pattern then
WotLK Beta Signup Late June
WotLK Beta Started Late July
WotLK 3.0 Patch Mid-Late Sept
WotLK Live a week or so before Thanksgiving
I would hope that his whole process would be smoother since they have already done this.
They are ahead of the previous expac timeline so I find it hard to believe that it will slip until 2009.
I came up with this a couple of weeks ago and I padded a little, but still I don't think it would be possible for them to release it at Blizzcon. But it is definitely coming before Thanksgiving(they are not going to want to have to worry about launch issues that weekend)
Usually they use Blizzcon to talk about projects in the distance future (SCII, Diablo 3) but with WotLK just weeks after it would be hard to escape the excitement.
Unless they release info about Universe of Starcraft, hahahaha.
Jul 15th 2008 8:52AM If you go back and look at the previous posts.
There are 5 of these Dell E and E Slim Models.
So this could be the same situation as with the eee.
For the plain E I bet it will go from $300-$400
And for the E Slim 12" screen $450-$550 it seems like they have the low end covered but if the E Slims bleeds into the $500s then it is just the same thing as the EEE.
I really want to get one of these before Labor Day but at this point I don't have a clue which one is going to be the best for the money. All I know is that I am not going to spend $600 on a 901.
Jul 8th 2008 4:38PM This model looks the best to me.
- 16GB with Linux ($399)
They must have a different flash vendor/chip for it do this cheap. Why would you get the rebate one?
The Wind does look good but they battery time was pretty bad in the last review I read. Something like 2.6 hrs.
901 was 5+ hrs don't know what the new 900 is going to be but if it is 2.5+ hrs I will take it for 400$
I find it hard to believe that the 901 is worth $200 more, but it has all those little feature people might want.

It is all going to depend on SC2. If they follow the Warcraft pattern. They should expand the universe with SC2 like they did with WCIII and continue the story with Universe of Starcraft(USC)
I would think that USC would not come out until a couple years after SC2. You would think in 3-4 years WoW would be on a down turn and USC would be a good replacement so they would not be stealing their own customers.
They may try something crazy and do a rts MMO, who knows but I am looking forward to anything they are going to do.
Jan 24th 2008 12:53PM The main problem that I have with 2.4 taking so long is that it hinders the progress of the game ie the next expansion.
I have cleared kara and done Gruul's once but I really like 5 man content(which is in 2.4 as well). If the sunwell does not come out for a couple of months then we aren't going to see WotLk until Fall which is very disappointing to me.
