You are missing the point. Many times updated rosters do change the game completely. Especially if you play with your fav team every time. Strategy changes and while it's not a big one (and they could really have done it on current gen madden's as well) it is something.
Along with this they actually did add new gameplay content in the 07 version. It's called Superstar mode and it is an entirely new way of playing, along with the "slight graphical tweaks and some tacked on extras." Also, some tacked on extras doesn't give justice to the "run to daylight" mode. This also adds a whole new element to strategy within the game. They also fixed many bugs that plagued 06. I think the 06 madden was overrated and this madden is getting underrated. While there are bugs in this version (which is something that should never happen) they don't really effect the casual gamer. Just...make sure you know what you are talking about before you add criticism. I think EA did a good job with this installment in their series and while this game definetly isn't a 9, it easily hits the 8+ range (IMHO).
Aug 18th 2006 2:17PM I actually can't believe Bizarre would waste time and money on something as trivial as this. This guy isn't profiting from this venture and couldn't possibly be taking people away from Geometry Wars. If anything it probably would be getting people excited about things Bizarre will be doing in the future. What a waste!
Jul 27th 2006 10:55AM I bought this game and totally love it, but at the same time I agree with Devil's Advocate. Not his view on the game, but rather the fact that I can't get into it for hours on end. This game is great for short stints of gaming, maybe dropping in to play a tourney against the comp or a few matches online, then I gotta move on.

So step off.
Jul 20th 2006 1:27PM I've always felt that smaller gaming "journals", or whatever you want to call them, are actually quite a refresher from the same old thing we have been reading for years. I get a few vid game mags and for the most part, I don't read them. Aside from the few articles on the really amazing important things, which everyone reads btw, I don't really pay attention. A site like this is different in that, the things you cover are on a much broader spectrum, if you screw up you can fix it immediately, and then there is the whole idea of community based forums. I'm not saying that everything you spout off is gold, but I couldn't tell you how many times my opinion had changed after reading what others thought. I couldn't get that from a mag. You guys are far from part of the problem, more like part of the solution.
