May 11th 2008 2:28AM Blah, blah, blah....
Listen folks, EQ is for the most part dead, the 40 man raid is dead, now the 25 man is swinging in the balance. It may die too.
If way back in EQ days the "Raid" group was 10 toons, then no one would be having this argument. If in Azeroth the raid parties were 10 this would be a non issue.
Blizz is learning that there are lots of us out here that cannot dedicate our lives to the game and will quit playing and go to something else if they don't keep us interested.
As far as number of people, if it were realistic we would send a couple rouges in to stab him in what ever he has for a heart, or a couple of snipers for a head shot, game over.
In keeping with the game though, It is my wish that what ever the first 10 man instance is that it be easier to gear for than Karazhan. and have enough Tier and random drops to lead into more epic raids. I have an alliance of guilds with 40+ 70s to choose from for a kara run, yet getting 10 well geared and skilled players is a pain in the arse. So I guess I'm asking for the first 10 man to be dumbed down a little so that a couple greens or lower level blues on the toons won't be and issue.
The gear requirement of Karazhan has kept the majority of our toons from getting past curator. I know that they aren't that high but, the first tier of raiding needs to feel epic but, not be a wipe fest for those new to raiding. let's get them started right and give them an opportunity to get some good gear without getting thier faces smashed. Who knows maybe the heroic tier will provide this, only problem there is getting the people to learn several different fights instead of one raid instance.
Basicall make Raid tier 1 accessable and doable to most
everyone. Yea it may make for a laughable raid instance but, more people will raid if they have a good experience in their first instance.
Jan 28th 2008 7:13PM I use the Zboard Merc Stealth, I had the org. Mer for well over a year with 0 problems. I was so impressed with it I bought the stealth for the backlighting and the usb ports.
However the standard Zboard advertised here is to flimsy for me, I have been know to pound a keyboard in frustration. A standard Zboard with the interchangeable Key sets would not stand a light pounding..... The Merc Stealth has already lived through a 5 wipe attempt at moros... ^&*( Ret pally stuns kept screwing up the pull, much better to pound the keyboard once than yell at him in Vent....lol
So anyhow 2 Keyboards from the same company the Merc and Merc Stealth well worth the cash! The interchangable keyset one not worth one red cent in my book, too flimsy....
