Hate that one. Pet peave.
May 11th 2010 12:03PM No question, the installer is a bad idea. Anything that runs an exe to install, let alone requires you to use a different shortcut to start WoW is a bad idea and a bad precedent. I'm not saying there's anything harmful in this addon, but given the prevalence of trojans, keyloggers and other malware, NO addon should be configured to install this way. I won't be using it until they change this.
Nov 21st 2008 9:39AM Yes it's just a game and yes your Death Knight has done worse but there's still a difference. There are very few people out there who really believe you can raise the dead and kill innocents with ghouls. Not many people think magic is real, let alone think it works. I've never heard anyone argue that Orcs actually exist.
On the other hand there are a number of people who wrongly think that torture works and that it is justified. And unlike flying Gryphons and races of walrus men, there actually are people being torutured right now. This quest goes way over the line and should be rewritten or replaced.

Aug 18th 2008 9:55AM Yeah, this was a bit of a dumb post. What worries me though is that not everyone reads comments and if they just skim the posts people may be led to believe that this comic was in fact a copyright violation.
What I'd like to see is an update to the post or even a follow up that deals with the fact that the first post is misleading and there are other sides to this.
May 7th 2008 8:54AM >>My orphan, Grunth, teaches us a bit about lore, but mostly teaches us to look at Azeroth through the eyes of a child.
Sheesh! Barrens Chat teaches you more than enough about Azeroth through the eyes of a child.
Mar 7th 2008 11:32AM "I do not see this as a "victory" for warlocks, as the change was uncalled for to start off with. A PvP-driven change to a class-defining mechanic that affects PvE more than PvP simply defies logic"
Not a Victory, huh? I see. So at the exact time, druids are in for a nerf because they are over represented in arenas. The change they pick nerfs PvE Druids and actually buffs PvP Druids. We complain, politely but firmly for the most part, that this makes no sense and we don't even rate a blue post, let alone a complete roll back of the ill considered nerf.
You may not have had a victory but it still looks pretty sweet from where druids are sitting.
Feb 4th 2008 11:43AM Narcs? Pfft! QQ yourself buckshot. We pay our money and we do what we want, which in this case is play with a sense of morals, not support people who sell accounts (frequently stolen ones), support Blizzard's ToS, etc.
If you don't like people being banned for cheating then you are perfectly free to weep quietly in your basement.
