Forum post of the day: I don't see any ads {WoW}

Dec 19th 2008 5:44PM HAHAHAHA ... Amanda "mANDY" Dean.

You deserve to be fired. Or since you are all freelance, you should be banned from writing any articles on WI from here on out. Way to inadvertently teach your OWN READERS to block ads from the website that pays you to write some of the dumbest crap that WI has to offer.

Hi, my name is mandy* {WoW}

Dec 19th 2008 3:32PM I second that motion.

Dec 19th 2008 1:30PM Sorry I think we got off on the wrong foot. My comment was never to 'put you on'. It was to express my frustration of the ever-growing pussification this blog has turned into.

That'll be all.

Hi, my name is mandy* {WoW}

Dec 19th 2008 1:24PM Since it was a wall of text I summarized it for you guys:

Dear Diary,

Although I'm not entirely sure how to prove I exist, I'm fairly confident that I am a real person. Guys are such jerks in the game to me. How will I ever make them realize that I'm a human being too! Ugh, I look like a whale today. Let me see what's going on in WoW and see if any of my boys are on. Ugh, they're not. What do I do .. oh well. Till next time.

XOXO,
mandy

Dec 19th 2008 1:11PM Have we had enough yet?

"Prodded further, I asked the offender if he would tell the same joke to a random lady on the street. He informed me that I am not a person, I'm part of an online game. I find that odd. Do online games compulsively sip Diet Dr. Pepper and squirm around in their chairs? No, they don't. Online games don't have sensibilities or responsibilities."

Make it stop Mike, make it stop.

WoW Insider on How I WoW {WoW}

Dec 19th 2008 1:01PM Ok, I know this might be completely inappropriate, but the dude with an accent is just a d-bag.

Internet Explorer exploit targets game passwords {WoW}

Dec 16th 2008 3:03PM IDIOT WRITERS STRIKE AGAIN:

http://blogs.zdnet.com/Ou/?p=915

I personally use Firefox, but that's because of the add-on capabilities. This "Dear Diary" mentality of opinionated female writers on this blog is keeping me from checking it as much as I did a few months back. Now Mike is at it himself.

FIX IT.

Felicia Day on meeting girls in WoW {WoW}

Nov 25th 2008 5:25PM Is it just me or does anyone think that Felicia Day is trying to be the Morgan Webb of WoW? The egos are inline.

15 Minutes of Fame: Tanking with a panic button {WoW}

Nov 25th 2008 5:07PM I think the bottom line here is that a majority of the female writers on WI post articles with no backbone or actual research. They make stupid caption contests and bring out topics that pose as a invigorating piece of journalism but merely come from left field. This article is a perfect example.

If you listen to the weekly podcast, you'd understand.

15 Minutes of Fame: Tanking with a panic button {WoW}

Nov 25th 2008 4:10PM Go read the comments. Nobody is telling him to go find a job, so that "oh so tiring" line is void. Like aiglos said, most likely, doctors are not going to advise him to play 14 hours worth of Warcraft a day.

If I were stricken with these disorders, I would do my best to fight it and overcome it. It appears as though based on this interview, he's accepted it and is learning to cope with it--not fight it or overcome it.

I would not have time to play Warcraft 12-14 hours a day if I helped clean the house, stuff envelopes for a living (unless those envelopes will make him sick, of course), so that part of being constructive in his day is clearly not there.
