Aug 29th 2010 4:40PM It's interesting that Paladin is so high up on the ladies' list. My main is a paladin — who I leveled Prot but went Holy with in BC to get off the bench and into raid content — but most of my female friends don't play pallies, even as alts. (It actually drew comment in my weekly group last night that I was a lady paladin.)
Aug 17th 2010 6:47PM Also.
Twenty Primarchs, each with their own insignia and colours. DO IT, LADIES. DO IT FOR THE EMPEROR.
Aug 17th 2010 6:42PM Why am I tempted (if I win) to just go off and start building makeup looks off of FOTM arena teams past and present? My immediate thought was "Hey, rogue-mage-priest actually looks pretty good together." Beastcleave would also be interesting.
Jul 12th 2010 4:48PM It was, in fact, against the TOU for a long time. I reported myself for it in early BC before name changes when I found out (because someone had reported an alt's name elseserver). Since the introduction of Latin American servers, they've removed that restriction, because those characters have a legitimate purpose in the Spanish language, and they use the same client as the US and Oceanic servers.
Nov 12th 2009 2:18PM Shaman here, too. I'm on a roleplay server, so I couldn't resist the combination: a technology-obsessed race getting such a spiritual class? She'll be going engineering (Goblin — of COURSE!) as well and will be sort of a "technoshaman."
Her name is Kext, because all goblin names must have an x in them, and because it's short for "kernel extension" in computing.
I'm also going to have a goblin bank alt named Roxanni — Roxie for short. She doesn't have to put on that red light.
Oct 5th 2009 1:33PM It's Forte Xorcist. It was originally for warlocks, but is now for all classes. Pretty pro.
Sep 30th 2009 11:04PM I've been lucky to play on a server full of generous, lovely people. Case in point:
I rolled a warlock alt, later in BC and was levelling her. At the time the server had a serious gold farmer problem, so the greens I could have used were selling for about 50g for a level 20 chestpiece. If I didn't get the drops I wanted/needed, I was SOL because my main was on a different server so I didn't have the cash. I ended up falling in with this group of people who often instanced together, and they took me along a lot — they weren't my guildies or anything, just my friends. One night, they told me to bring my 'lock to UC, and set about crafting her gear upgrades and giving her enchants.
of Moon Guard US Horde, Adries misses you.
As for my own personal good deeds — yesterday, actually =P
I was poking around in an instance when someone piped up in one of my channels that his rogue had freshly hit 80 / returned to the game. His name seemed familiar and I realized that my guildmaster had mentioned being friends with him some time ago. They used to be guildies before each of them had a fallout with their former guild. I told him to send my GL a tell when he got home and we'd drag him through heroics, etc. When my GL got home, he talked to his old friend, gave him a few BOE upgrades from the gbank, and put together a Direbrew group in secret using his rogue alt. We got the Tankard, which he promptly handed over to his friend. Tonight I'm dragging him through a heroic zerg.
How I met my GL? I was up late one night, and in the same channel this level 40 paladin asked if anyone would be willing to take him to the alliance cities to get their fires (it was during Midsummer). Not actually doing anything else, I shrugged and agreed and set off to Darnassus with this stranger. He died to guards a lot. I accidentally pulled the fishing trainer. We laughed our asses off. He saw I was unguilded, and asked if he could ginvite me so that his paladin alt could be in the guild as well. I agreed. He promised to take me to Naxxramas sometime. He continued to level his paladin, raided with me on his rogue, and we became fast friends.
He carried me through Naxxramas and replaced half my gear in one night. When he saw I was still (STILL!) rocking a Shard of the Virtuous from Karazhan at level 80, he called in all of his friends to get a Titansteel Guardian made for me on the spot. He's one of the most generous people I've ever met in game and out.
He's also now my boyfriend. :D
Sep 2nd 2009 4:04PM That's the Hyperion "set" — it's not an actual set with bonuses, just a bunch of "of the Whale"-type gear that shares a look. It's plate and requires levels from 55-60, so expect it to drop in old-world zones and dungeons (Strat, Scholo, BRS, etc).

For pictures of the event. I had footage but crashed and lost it. Thanks, Blingér!
