May 28th 2008 11:32PM "AHAHAHAHAAA HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
Oh god that's the funniest thing I've read all week next to "the Wii isn't powerful enough to show video with real people in it"."
Wow, Obnoxious fanboy alert.
He's talking about the quality of the video, which would obviously be limited by the capacity of the disc and the amount of data that can be streamed from it at any one time.
So I'm afraid to inform you, but the original poster is probably right. The Wii likely couldn't play a video file that long at that high a quality; it would likely be reduced in quality / compressed somewhat.
May 26th 2008 12:47AM First decent hunter set, ever.
I find this a good thing, seeing as my main is a hunter anyway.
The designs on all of these are quite original and unique; it's a good mix between the more traditional stylings of vanilla Azeroth and the more obscure and out-there aspects of Northrend, without falling into the sci-fi territory that consumed TBC.
Top marks for rogue set especially. Tres cool.

"The people of China aren't free to "bring it up". They aren't free to protest their own government. They aren't free to do anything other than the few things the government allows.
That's why some of us "bash" the chinese government every chance we get. They're a repressive, despotic regime..."
A bit like the American government then, yeah?
Surely, what the hell is wrong with you people? You can't put your petty xenophobia behind you for two minutes just to pay your respects to the dead?
How quickly you people forget the likes of Hurricane Katrina. And yet you mock the dead purely because they're not from your country of birth.
My best wishes go out to people affected by this disaster, especially the families and people dealing with their loss. It's good to see the staff of WoW Insider acknowledging this disaster, and you've got the respect and admiration of those of us here with half a heart (not many, apparently) for it.
May 9th 2008 9:20AM Considering how much genuine WOW fantasy lore they're actually putting into this expansion, surely they have a little bit of humorous fun with this DETHA group?
It's clearly meant to be a cute reference, not something that's meant to be taken entirely seriously.
Mar 10th 2008 9:39AM Personally, I always say it as more of an "unspoken" law than anything official. There may not be any official laws against it, but it's not something that conservative people would want to see.
It's all about the political correctness, right?
Feb 27th 2008 8:18AM "finishing kara in one night is worth noting? wow, welcome to 6 months ago"
Jackasses who have to flaunt their own achievements by undermining others people's ones. Welcome to the last 3 years of WoW. Sadly.
Feb 25th 2008 9:36AM This is a bigger patch than even the Black Temple was as far as new content goes, and there's been some pretty funky bugs cropping up in this one. And there's likely stuff in there prepping for WotLK as well
The progressive testing may make for a more reliable and balanced end, but that might slow things down even more.
Depressing as the thought may be, I'm going to go with the 1th of April.
Feb 19th 2008 9:08PM Many seem to think it's just to stop people QQing about the awkward travel, but as an Alliance player on the PTR, I can honestly tell you that flying to Quel'Danas every time you want to involve yourself in the new content *is* horribly repetitive and tiresome. Especially early on, when there's only 2 quests to do there.
It may seem like a small change, but this is going to be extremely welcome for Alliance players, and I'm betting that it *will* make it into the Live Realm. They'd be crazy not to.
@Aichon: I think he was referring to the very flight paths you just mentioned.
What exactly is the deal with this now Shattrah transport? Is it permanent item that acts as a hearthstone from anywhere in the world? If so... sweeeeeet.
Feb 17th 2008 2:58AM Am I the only person here who thinks that this situation is nothing more than out-of-date ToU whose wording got eschewed, causing the whole thing to get blown out of proportion?
1 - Considering the original ToU, have they ever actually taken user content and redistributed it for their own means?
2 - How long has it been up before someone actually bothered to notice? If anything, it proves that people don't seem to care what their rights are.
3 - It was changed rather swiftly, nullifying the problem. If they weren't interested, they could have left it as it is. A lot of companyies wouldn't respect their customer base that way.
Build mountains out of a mole-hill, much?
(No, I don't work for Curse. =P )
