Dec 16th 2011 12:20PM This looks awesome!
Oct 17th 2011 1:16PM Regarding Pandaren, I keep thinking that this would somehow cause conflicts for Blizzard in China... Something I read before gave me the impression that any panda type characters might cause a problem, especially portryaing them dead/dying (which seems impossible to avoid). Maybe it is not as big a deal as I thougnht - but it would seem crazy to have to make such fundamental changes to an xpac (or not even release it) for China.
Dec 7th 2010 4:27PM Me plz!
Dec 7th 2010 4:21PM This is what I want for Christmas and it is SO not in the budget! Maybe I will win!!!!!
Dec 6th 2010 11:35AM I would love to win the book!
Thanks for all the give-aways!
Sep 27th 2010 6:03PM What would be really cool, is to somehow make it into another CoT instance. If there is no reason for that lorewise - well my bad... I just recall we are forever going back in time in CoT and that could be a guise to keep such an amazing part of Wrath alive...
Just a thought.
Sep 21st 2010 3:58PM I think this is a cool feature. If there is someone in my guild who get's pissy b/c I cannot answer something in guild chat when I am not online playing the game - well they need to get a grip! No worries on that front...
With all the mention of facebook integration and stuff not too long ago, this is not surprising. I believe the very large community of WoW is being pushed along a path of these other social network sites. And just like those, you opt in or out. I remain thankful that they have removed the threat of exposing people's real names on the forums and all that (not meaning to get into that again) - and we will be able to use this functionality to be as connected as we want to be to our WoW friends without handing out our facebook accounts and such.
I have met some people on WoW that I would consider a friend - not necessarily to the same degree as other people I have known for years outside the game. But still, this is a way to chat when I want even if I cannot get online.
Jun 24th 2010 12:25PM In the real world, I work as a private investigator. By trade (for which we are screened and licensed in my state), we have access to an unbelievable amount of information on people. Most of this, the general public does not have access to. However, if a name is unique, and/or you know the state and approximate age (or even the names of a person's friends) you can often find out an unbelievable amount of information. This is DANGEROUS. It may be very very rare that someone is able to track down another person. I think it will be rare. But one time is too many folks. And it will happen - at least once - no doubt about it.
To everyone - do not post your personal informaion on facebook/myspace etc. That is a start - but it is not enough to keep your identity/location safe. I am VERY surprised that Blizzard would allow this - and that they have not seriously considered the risks. Perhaps they are just not aware. It seems there are a lot of people who are unaware, judging from the posts I have seen.
Jun 4th 2010 11:44AM Thanks! The 2 seconds it took me to switch it to two tickets probly made me too high in que last round. After clicking to two, then getting in que, I was number 6207. So close. This will help tomorrow! GL everyone trying to get tickets!!!
Jun 4th 2010 11:07AM Someone posted on another thread that, after you are in que, when the chance to purchase pops up, you have the ability to change the number of tickets you want to purchase. Can anyone who got through confirm if this is true or not?
