Servers back down: Mailboxes empty [Updated x2] {WoW}

Nov 11th 2008 6:55PM Chill. You're sounding like an angry crack addict who's gone too long without a hit.

If you have so much to do, why don't you go out and do it instead of sitting hunched over your computer and waiting for the realms to repop? It's not the end of the world - WoW will still be here tomorrow, and the next day. Heck, it'll still be here in a week, in a month, and, funnily enough, in a year! If losing a day or two (which is about 50 cents to a buck USD) is enough to make you froth in this much indignant rage, you need to step back, breathe, and maybe find another hobby. They're doing the best they can, on a holiday no less, to give you a game that is worth that USD15 that you shell out every month.

TL;DR: Take a chill pill and relax.

Reminder: Now's the time to get your necrotic runes {WoW}

Oct 31st 2008 8:43PM Necropoleis, you mean?

The plague grows... {WoW}

Oct 23rd 2008 9:57PM My first inclination is to automatically say 'Westfall' considering it's one of (if not THE) only established grain-producing areas of the world. Either that or the goblin hothouse grain conglomerate totally just got wasted.

Ezra Chatterton passes away {WoW}

Oct 23rd 2008 9:49PM Strength and honor, Ezra. Strength and honor.

Breakfast Topic: What confuses you about Patch 3.0.2? {WoW}

Oct 13th 2008 8:43AM I think the official word is that epic ground and epic flying skill prices are never going to down. They're the one major gold sink in the game (no, the Gigantique bags don't count), so I think the devs want to keep the prices high as their secret plan to fight inflation.

(because dude, my server's economy is already running on the high side, I'd hate to see what it would be like without the almost mandatory 5k payout.)

Breakfast Topic: What was your least favorite part of this year's Brewfest? {WoW}

Oct 6th 2008 8:42AM The change from the mount being a reward for doing fairly fun dailies to being a random drop from a five-man boss was the worst thing.

I'd run the event five times a day, and never saw either mount drop. I was... annoyed, at best.

Breakfast Topic: So what sorta pet are you gonna get? {WoW}

Oct 3rd 2008 10:26AM I'm keeping Garuda, my white owl. I'm not thrilled with the 'snatch' ability, but I think the rest of the cunning tree will more than make up for it. I'm also highly tempted to get a boar from Razorfen and possibly a wasp or a silithid. I'll be trying out different pets mostly to see what dovetails best with my playstyle while looking good.

Forum post of the day: Honor, glory, and coercion {WoW}

Sep 26th 2008 9:15AM This.

I'm an avid Battlegrounder myself, and I find myself wishing so much that I could have a (possibly upgradable), completely unique armor set. We all look the same - raiders look like gladiators look like Battlegrounders. It pisses me off that I have to do something that I think is a waste of time and energy to be able to play a part of the game that I love.

Give us shiny Grand Marshal and High Warlord sets for Battlegrounds, plz.

WoWWiki Olympics is underway {WoW}

Aug 19th 2008 11:35PM That was actually a lot of fun. I think it was the second one that threw me for a loop - like another commenter, I was dead sure it was something else. Much mental headdesking ensued when I figured it out.

Breakfast Topic: What profession will you be going for in Wrath? {WoW}

Aug 19th 2008 11:17AM I'm keeping my 70 hunter at mining/engineering, since I've got her maxed out already, but with my 70 paladin, I'm not sure whether to drop enchanting for alchemy - she's at 350 and unlikely to go higher until after Wrath is out, since the guild already has two 375 enchanters and my paladin doesn't raid. But the money from disenchanted mats is good...
