Apr 22nd 2009 8:06AM There must be something in the water in Area 52... We got one of their ninja transfer guilds over on Farstriders (Brood I believe they were called... now Bane) and all of the threads that attempted to warn us about their reputation mysteriously disappear off of our forums!
Then again, there might be something in the water in Farstriders... from everything I've heard the Horde side seems to be generally pleased that they're here. =P
Jan 13th 2009 6:22AM I've always thought that it would be more in Blizzard's best interest to avoid policing the RP community on an RP server (aside from enforcing standard ToS, cracking down on ERP, etc.). I play on Farstriders so that I can be with my wife, and I barely RP at all. If Blizzard had a "mandatory RP on RP server" type of policy, I wouldn't have rolled on my current server to begin with. (I don't have any problems with RP, it's just not my forte).
Daniel, you might consider /leave-ing the Trade channel and/or filtering it into a separate chat window (both of which are supported in the default UI). It's an easy way to avoid the headache and should leave you with more time to focus on RP (if you so choose).
Jan 12th 2009 10:22AM You might check out IgnoreMore for your ignore list. It expands the ignore list, auto-shares between your alts on that realm/faction, and lets you add notes (with an overloaded /ignore command to boot).
Dec 10th 2008 5:07PM I'm pretty sure that I just said "w00t" on all of the past contest posts. I haven't won anything yet...
Dec 6th 2008 11:13PM I hope they do something similar with Earth and Moon... Being as it's an Arcane school debuff, any mobs that are immune to Arcane magic are immune to the debuff as well. That is a significant amount of damage lost to a caster-heavy DPS group.
Dec 2nd 2008 8:14AM I'm a tiny bit OCD when it comes to questing, and I definitely fall into the last category (at least on my higher-level toons). I've been finished with my last zone now for a week, but I just can't bring myself to start a new one as I'm still digesting all of the lore.
well, having finals next week doesn't help either...
Nov 30th 2008 10:13AM Coldarra is another good place to skin, lots of dragonkin packed tightly. Only drawback is that they usually drop scraps instead of regular borean leather.
Nov 27th 2008 8:46AM Flag holder camping on top of their base in WSG? Not a problem anymore. Boomkin sneaks up in kitty form, waits for him/her to get close to the ledge... Typhoon'd.
Nov 15th 2008 4:05AM w00t for more Razer gear!
