Spiritual Guidance: First impressions of the Mists of Pandaria beta from a healing priest {WoW}

Apr 3rd 2012 12:10AM This is beta, please please PLEASE report to blizz that a certain playstyle isn't working out so that they can/might change or fix it.

The Queue: Suffer for fashion {WoW}

Mar 31st 2012 6:59PM It still works the exact same way, dual talents are based on your specialization though (switching from tank to dps for example).

The Queue: Suffer for fashion {WoW}

Mar 31st 2012 6:57PM They have been working on turning it into some kind of boa token system that you can collect for all realms, so at least something is in the works atm. They haven't said specifically when it will be done though.

The Queue: Orc monks best monks {WoW}

Mar 23rd 2012 4:35PM So will there be articles showing all the new Monk animations for all the old races? Haven't gotten in beta yet and would love to see the videos. Orc and Undead especially.

Breakfast Topic: What would be your biggest Mists of Pandaria surprise? {WoW}

Mar 18th 2012 10:01AM Cata launch was hands down the best experience, having been around since vanilla launch. Aside from a few server resets and weekly maintenance, Cata was a GREAT launch experience, the best so far in fact.

Breakfast Topic: What would be your biggest Mists of Pandaria surprise? {WoW}

Mar 18th 2012 9:55AM @ Zack. They never once said new vanilla models would be released in time for Pandaria. In fact, all they mentioned was that each vanilla model would be updated with Monk animations.

The only thing that changed was their comment about vanilla updated models as being "something they want to do" to "we are revamping the models but don't have a timetable as to when it will be done."

Its much faster and easier to add new animations to old models than it is to completely update new models. Look at past expansions, two times they only added two new models, and now they're only adding a single one in Pandaria. I HOPE HOPE HOPE that the vanilla models get a face lift, but if they're trying to push this expac out this summer updating EIGHT old models would take months of work regardless of how many employees are working on them.

Blood Pact: Initial impressions of 4.3 raiding as a warlock {WoW}

Dec 5th 2011 8:17PM To clarify on patch 4.4, I meant that there will be world events happening in that patch along with whatever Blizz decides to throw in for content, I'm not expecting any other raids or dungeons though so class balance may not matter.

Blood Pact: Initial impressions of 4.3 raiding as a warlock {WoW}

Dec 5th 2011 8:15PM Keep in mind that we are still getting a 4.4 "content" patch before the big MoP changes in 5.0, so there may or may not be class balance changes. It wouldn't make a lot of sense to bother with class changes though, if 4.4 came out in say, March, with 5.0 in May or so and MoP around June (I'm speculating as an example).

As far was Warlocks go, I'm happy with Destro numbers atm, as a casual raider myself. Numbers in heroic 5 mans have gone up enough to make me at least take turns with it when I'm bored with Demo (which happens often). The play style of Destro is what I favor as a nuke spec compared to the dots of Afflic and Pet functions of Demo.

Patch 4.3 officially going live tomorrow, Nov. 29 {WoW}

Nov 28th 2011 9:19PM So any guessing on how big the small update will be for people who already pre downloaded the 800+ MB patch on the blizzard launcher? I'm hoping for under 100mb, as my bandwidth sucks monkey doodoo. Although this patch seems small to begin with considering the amount of content, what with a new raid, 3 dungeons, and new features and all.
