Nov 24th 2011 8:22PM Would you recommend deleting the cache as well once 4.3 drops? I usually do just incase but would like to know if it actually does anything or not.
Nov 22nd 2011 8:43PM Surprised this wasn't covered in an upcoming World of Warcrafts. Amazing detail, I'd love to do something like this my my skills lie in pencils not crafting :p
Nov 9th 2011 12:18AM 'Cataclysm, it turns out, took longer to develop than any other expansion."
Because of the huge revamp to Azeroth, not having anything to do with new feature in the expansion itself.
Nov 7th 2011 7:59PM If nothing else I just really, REALLY want some green colored destruction spells! Improved Soul Fire should turn the spell graphic green, and I'd love for Incinerate to also be a green colored flame. I've actually played and loved both destruction and fire mage and destruction is better overall and less dependent on rng imo. I really like that destro has more of a nuke feeling while still relying on a couple dots.
Nov 4th 2011 10:28PM I haven't seen them offer data like this ahead of time since before Cata was released. It will be nice to have some of the patch pre downloaded like they used to let us do, instead of everyone forced to download the full patch on release date.
Nov 4th 2011 12:25PM ^ Refuse to hurt another "person" but have no issues having furry lil animals kill each other in their own version of pvp....mmmk.
Oct 31st 2011 11:50AM The Pandarens we play as are thousands of years removed from the Pandaren in Pandaria (say that 5 times fast!). I'm sure their ideals remain the same, but unless the starting zone has Alliance and Horde both waging war as you quest to level 10, then the Pandarens you play as don't know about any war going on in Pandaria.
For all we know both the Alliance and Horde are waging war in Pandaria, then here comes along more Panda, but wait, they seem neutral to you and haven't been to Pandaria in a thousand or more years, so why not recruit them to help your cause! By the time these Pandarens reach the conflict in Pandaria, they already chose their allegiance to a faction so the people living in Pandaria view them as outcasts, and the outcast are less likely to get upset with your own faction.
Oct 29th 2011 3:48AM They confirmed in the Lore panel that Neptulon is over and done with, sadly. An expansion on a new continent wouldn't exactly be a great place to continue the story anyways.
I don't buy the lack of a "big bad" either. We will just see major villains based around Pandaren lore and whatever is attacking them on Pandaria. After a patch of two the main villain will show up, most likely something to do with an Old God.
Oct 29th 2011 3:06AM Did they say Horde would take away Theramore from Alliance and occupy it, or just destroy it? If Horde just blows it to pieces and leaves it in ruins, whats stopping a Mage from using his portal still to that location?
Oct 29th 2011 3:04AM ^ How would the amount of quests have to do with which side is getting more "attention." The problem is what those quests tell for the story, and for Alliance players, its a lot of fighting Horde but retreating at the end of most zones because you lost.
Garrosh being a bad ass warmonger, Sylvanas being a deceitful shrew (in a good way), Zol Jin being incorporated into the story through out Cata makes for some exciting faction leaders. Alliance faction leaders are almost non existent this whole expansion.
