Shaman glyphs in Beta build 8905 {WoW}

Sep 7th 2008 4:34PM Aw... that water shield glyph used to add 3 charges. That was very nice for healers, in light of Imp. Water Shield.

Warrior glyphs and talent changes in Beta build 8905 {WoW}

Sep 7th 2008 4:25PM Love these changes and glyphs. Making me seriously consider going back to my warrior, and actually leveling prot! Awesome.

Ask a Beta Tester: More about inscription {WoW}

Sep 7th 2008 3:36PM "Borean Leather is the new leather type, so I presume there will be an equivalent to Knothide Leather Scraps also, which I guess is Borean Leather Scraps? Considering that Frostweave Cloth can be turned into Bolt of Frostweave at 350 Tailoring, I suppose that Borean Leather Scraps can be turned into Borean Leather at 350 Leatherworking also?"

Wow, I've never heard such an uninteresting question. lol

New racial abilities for Wrath {WoW}

Sep 7th 2008 3:01PM Endurance is being NERFED, not buffed. If it's based on base health, and it's tuned as a 5% overall health increase with green gear, then it becomes less than 5% when you go up to blue and purple gear.

Paladin glyphs in Beta build 8885 {WoW}

Aug 30th 2008 1:30AM I expect that the previously revealed glyphs were all major or medium, and now they're getting around to all the minor ones. Unimpressive... but something needs to take up those two spots. :|

Raid buffs overhauled for 3.0.2 {WoW}

Aug 29th 2008 10:11AM lol, they really should've made these changes -before- coming out with all the shiny new talents and abilities. We were all jazzed about the new mana regens and all this other stuff, then they kill downranking and raid debuffs and so forth... talk about a buzzkill.

Raid buffs overhauled for 3.0.2 {WoW}

Aug 29th 2008 10:01AM Damn, killing those debuffs like impSB and shadow weaving, that's harsh. Stormstrike wasn't on that list anywhere, interesting.

Breakfast Topic: Skippable quests {WoW}

Aug 29th 2008 9:38AM I think the idea with that is that a lot of the heads are too damaged for you too use them. Of course, in that particular quest, the heads are just supposed to be proof that you killed those murlocs, so their condition shouldn't matter, unless you just smashed them to a pulp... at which point they're not really "heads" anymore. But like, with boar tusks and such, they can get broken in combat so you can't really use them.

I also tend to skip group quests, on account of not finding groups, and I skip certain zones that just depress me. STV sometimes, Searing Gorge, Un'Goro, Swamp of Sorrows, Feralas (you may have noticed, I hate jungles), Felwood, Azshara (I imagine most people avoid that one), and even Dustwallow Marsh, despite the new quests there. It's usually a combination of ugly visuals, weak background music, and/or lack of lore that makes me avoid a zone.

Forum post of the day: Dueling debate {WoW}

Aug 27th 2008 5:49AM I used recklessness in a duel with a rogue once, and I still lost. I suck. Dueling sucks. Screw you guys, I'm going home.
