Aug 10th 2010 6:57PM Totally digging this, would love to be able to get my hewolf on
May 17th 2008 10:55AM Personally, seemed kind of dumb to me. No offense to these guys, but in the 18 months? I think thats how many where between their illidan kill and sunwell you just find better stuff to do. I don't know about the "friend" dynamic in DnT, but at least in my buddies' raiding guild there was alot of drama just about people trying to criticize one another for having talent points in something the other person didn't think that was the optimal build. I guess when you spend days spending the game you've already beat you need a break. I don't think it really phases the raiding scene much, I personally expect alot of these guys to come back together around Wrath and tear it up again. Till then enjoy the fresh air,sun and probably the age of conan
Apr 15th 2008 3:16AM Some what little known fact, Warcraft; orcs and humans was originally going to be a warhammer property. The game was bailed on by GW and some changes where made so it was a stand alone as "warcraft". Thats what I have read at least, but I suppose its all based in myth and tolkien anyways so whatever.
Its pretty common to see GW distributors selling models they get at "limited editions" the same way on ebay, I suppose its your's to do with as you like once you are given it and if that is to make more money, then thats fine in my book.
Apr 2nd 2008 10:33AM Precision is a fantastic talent, i think anyone who says otherwise is sorely missing out on alot of dps, you are straight upping your "to-hit" 3 percent, thats not hit rating, it can't be changed. Sure if you are in a kara guild you might not notice, but you're dps will improve and you go on to any 25 man or even ZA you're whole raid is going to suffer.
As far as benediction, I like it and improved might, might is kind of an issue for 5 mans as most people are going to want you to use sanc, same for rogues, and maybe feral dps. I would pick it up if I was raiding though, particularly in a paladin heavy raid so while everyone is yelling out "ZOMG GIMME KINGS" you can give them improved might on the off buff.
Mar 30th 2008 2:49AM Not running MrT yet, but this really excites me. As long as the mobs have all the shortcomings of players I am fine, so as long as they can get poisoned, bled, stunned, silenced etc. I think it sounds like a great encounter and really lets you see who came to play.
Mar 26th 2008 3:11PM As far as "exploits" it sounds like standing on a hill, is a tactic. I mean it seems like good sense, even though that does not always apply in wow
Mar 19th 2008 7:23PM Undead for the first ten, then to the ghostlands for the next 12 are my personal favorite.
I am really into the Orc starting zone though, I like the whole lead up to Ragefire Chasm and rooting out corruption in the Horde
Mar 9th 2008 1:35PM I think that Paladin tanks work fine, I think that each tanking class has a role for bosses in which they are going to shine. Its like anything where you have a breadth of choices for one job, things are going to do better when you pick the best man for the job. Prot warriors are great for single targets, they have a couple solid panic buttons that don't wipe aggro and shield bash, as well as spell reflect make the world a better place. Its hard to beat druids in a fight where high armor and hp are paramount, they have fantastic dps as well, I like druids for utility, you can bring a feral druid and still have good dps if you don't need them to tank, off-tank or what have you. I feel Paladin, as stated in the article shines against multi-mob tanking as well as bosses who hit very quick, paladins can do an equal amount of work as the other classes. I play a prot paladin, but imo Lay on Hands and the Bubbles will never be quite as reliable as shield wall and last stand. I honestly think this is not worth all the mean spirited comments towards one another.
Any ways Shamans still need a buff, and Ret Pallies are still sad pandas
Feb 26th 2008 10:15AM Honestly I think this is pretty cool, its always nice when a young articulate kid excels at anything. Sure its WoW and his parents play but thats positive. I've been in PUGs with people while they where drunk, people explaining how they'd just got back from their parole officer and so forth. I hope this kid and his guild both operate with the maturity that makes this game fun. It is a game thats made for kids and I hope there are lots who are playing and having fun doing so. As far as the concerns about people on vent and what not, I hope they just behave like they would in any social setting. Contrary to popular belief not everyone wants to hear you curse out the world.
Cheers man, Have fun in azeroth
