Dec 9th 2011 2:09AM That actually is no indication of a lack of focus or a screw up. Unless you work at Blizzard and know more than you're letting on? As Blue indicated, the coding is complicated and is something they're fine-tuning over time. I hope come Mists will see a better implimentation of this LFR.
Oct 13th 2011 10:32PM Hrm, the article may have changed: "Looks like we know what's going to be in our goodie bags this year. We've gotten pictures of what appears to be BlizzCon swag for this year's attendee goodie bag. Last year, BlizzCon goers were given a Dethling statue in commemoration of Deathwing's return to Azeroth and Cataclysm's launch. This year's Diablo-themed statue would definitely make sense. Hit the jump for the full picture."
No mention about being taken from a Twitpic account from a guy who works as AI in Blizzard. The coverup commences!
Oct 13th 2011 10:13PM How do you know they deleted the picture? Where else other than here are you seeing this picture?
Feb 18th 2010 1:34PM @DeOBrien7: You are incorrect, Robin is 100% correct. You *do* need a code that you received in your Beta invite for Starcraft 2. Here, in fact, is the specific process Blizzard puts in the email (which I and my wife received, having gone to Blizzcon '08):
1. Apply Your Beta Key - Log in to your Battle.net account. Under "Manage My Games," click "Add or Upgrade a Game." Enter the above beta key in the "Enter Game Key" field and select "Add Game."
2. Get the Installer - In your list of games, click the “Manage Game” button under the StarCraft II beta image to download the installer.
3. Install the StarCraft II Beta - Once you’ve downloaded the installer, run it and follow the directions to install the StarCraft II beta client on your machine. Note that your participation in the StarCraft II beta test is governed by a Beta Test Agreement that you are required to accept before you can install the beta client.
4. Run the Game & Log in to Battle.net - After the StarCraft II beta installs, the launcher interface should automatically appear on your screen. Log in with your Battle.net account and you’ll be able to begin playing. You can launch the client at any time by clicking the desktop shortcut or by going to the Windows® Start Menu.
Feb 10th 2010 7:07PM So, considering that I and my wife went to Blizzcon 2008 and were told we'd be participating in the Beta of SCII, how would Blizzard go about contacting us that we're in it? I ask because for account security reasons I can see getting an email from Blizzard saying "click this link" and me just trashing it because I assume its a phishing email.
Nov 6th 2008 5:32PM I hope its me! :D
Aug 21st 2008 7:09PM Very interesting Lore read - seldom do I think about how the environment interacts with creatures or how an area was formed. And definately the Barrens is one of those areas that really doesn't inspire me to find out more. :D However, I'm glad to learn about how it was formed, why certain races are there, and when this all happened.
Aug 11th 2008 9:32PM You can purchase up to 5.
I know this because I accidentally clicked buy tickets too many times and it told me 5 was the limit. :D
Aug 11th 2008 9:06PM After spending the better part of the day (8am til about 2pm) trying the store, my wife got home and over the last 3 hours tried herself to get tickets. Furthest she's gotten (and crossing our fingers) is up to the purchase page and entering in character information.
And...she gets the failoc.
