Jul 6th 2009 9:28PM For the purposes of the game, bosses can be killed multiple times to gain loot.
For the purposes of the story, each instance and raid only ever happens once, and your character never dies. From a story perspective, you don't kill a boss only to have them return the next day; they die and they stay dead, unless they appear again in the future, in a different area.
Jun 10th 2009 11:37PM No mention of Scribblenauts? :p
Apr 13th 2009 10:50PM That trailer was as epic in its own way as the Wrathgate.
I like the first time Jaina's face was shown, just looked like she really didn't want to be there to announce Varian. The rest of the time was a bit weird though. Is that the same voice from Warcraft Three?
Apr 12th 2009 8:24AM This isn't about Warcraft, but I'm currently reading a fantasy series where half the story is depressing! Being about war, of course, it's realistic where most authors would sugar-coat it and have the good guys win with minimal loss of life. In the number of books I've read, entire species went extinct and at the end of one of the story arcs, pretty much the bad dude won.
Oh, curse you, xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.
Mar 31st 2009 10:19PM I'm pretty sure this is a joke article, but I'll go and say that naming rules don't matter anyway.
After all, Anachronos would be a blue dragon and Sapphiron would be a Twilight dragon if we were to assume dragons always follow naming rules.
Plus a really old patch note has Blizzard calling her 'she' :p
Feb 3rd 2009 8:28PM I'm gonna call BS based on two or three things.
One: Blizzard would announce this kind of stuff at E3 or Blizzcon, not let a random guy from the art department drop a bunch of hints and ideas. Even if this stuff is true, he isn't gonna get another job in the games industry, as someone has said.
Two: Blizzard employees who announce new content usually do so in a profession manner. This interviewee dropped words like 'hell', which Blizzard might use, but 'fucking' is a bit strong for public relations.
Guess that is it for now. While a few things might be true, I wouldn't count on it.
Jan 31st 2009 10:22PM What was that French song when the female night elf was dancing? It sounds familiar but I don't know the name.
Jan 2nd 2009 8:26PM I would like to submit what I believe is the most useless trinket in game; Charm of the Swift Flight.
Rather than swifting your flight form, it instead halves the mana cost. You have to equip this trinket, which takes up bag space, to get a 108 mana reduction on a method of travel, best used to cover large distances, during which you would likely recover 10x that mana you save anyway.
Oct 26th 2008 8:14PM Has anyone mentioned Grand Apothecary Putress in Shattrath yet?
Oct 9th 2008 9:33PM But once you hit level 80, the 20,000xp will be converted into gold. I'm hearing an average of 15g-28g for some dailies at level 80.
But yeah, considering you can repeat them over and over, I'll be doing dailies to level wherever possible. It only means more quests to finish at level 80, which means more gold from xp conversions :)
