Aug 20th 2008 5:02AM Goddamnit, some *expletive* posted the answers on the forums. So much for those of us who played by the rules.
Jul 5th 2008 11:16PM I used Mojo, the Sen'jin buff and a growth potion and mabye Bloodlust while on my Netherdrake (I'm a Tauren).
While on my Raptor, I was as tall as the Meeting Stones. On my Netherdrake I was as tall as a Meeting Stone and as long as...hmm..
Well let's just say that my Orc friends were about the same width and height as my Drake's front left leg.
Jun 26th 2008 10:26PM There is ambiguity to everything.
"One expansion every year" can be technically explained (and correctly) as one expansion every 730 days, assuming one came out on Jan 1st 2008 and the next came out on December 31st 2009. It is still "every year", just not the same period of 365 days.
Jun 18th 2008 4:40AM If anything, WoW came up with acheivements first. They called them 'Titles', though. I mean really, can't you translate titles into achievements, since you unlock them?
Be at the AQ opening event.
Get to Rank X in PvP.
Complete the attunement for SSC/TK before the attunements are not required.
Hit exalted with the Shattered Sun Offensive and donate to their cause.
The same sort of thing can also be said for people who collect Tabards. After all, if you have the SSO Tabard you are exalted with them. There are alot of factions with the Tabards, so the achievement would be "Get to Exalted with X faction".
May 26th 2008 9:41PM First, we know exactly how to make a DK. Blizzard said it. There is no questline to unlock, but there WILL be class quests when you make the DK and are playing it.
Now, as for it starting at level 55. For the sake of sanity, can we please assume that the Lich King didn't waltz over to the Exodar, look for just-out-of-the-pod-draenei and pronounce him a Death Knight?
In my opinion, it is good that they are starting at level 55. It means that your Death Knight, the one YOU play, had a story behind him, and RPers for one can choose it. Presumably the Lich King found someone worthy of being a Death Knight, mabye level 30, and the new Death Knight spend 25 levels in service to the Lich King, before breaking free. That is where YOU come in, to control him.
It makes more sense with Death Knights than it does with Paladins. Paladins are practically raised from birth to believe in the Light, and Death Knights are created from already strong warriors. Hell, the Death Knights we will fight in New-Naxx will probably have been player controled had they not stayed with the Lich King (Not really, but that's the point I'm trying to make. The Death Knights we play already leveled as NPCs and you step in to control them.)
May 26th 2008 9:26PM With the Dakara super weapon?
Space-goats, to the Exodar!
I don't believe in 'Lorelol' personally. A story MUST evolve. If the Warcraft universe just ended with Arthas becoming the Lich King back in WC:TFT, I would have been...not pissed, but disappointed.
World of Warcraft is Warcraft 4, for all intents and purposes. Semi-hidden in the joke quests and gathering quests is a story line, and in the Warcraft Universe I think they've shown that main characters and such die. Uther was a good example.
May 25th 2008 8:17PM The Mages as Water coolers is a nice touch :P
May 24th 2008 9:27PM Couple of hours after getting Flight Form I went to Firewing Point. Killed a few mobs on the high tower. Then I saw one yell and run toward me, so I jumped off the tower.
Just as I went over the threshold I remembered that Flight Form can't be cast in combat, and that an enemy running toward you is a pretty clear indication that you have entered combat.
Had the corpse run to laugh about it, though :p
May 15th 2008 8:27PM It would if the repitition was hitting someone with a base ball bat over and over :p
I thought I read somewhere that a passenger mount would be available (but not a new riding skill).
May 5th 2008 9:01PM The Cockroach Vendor wiped an Alliance counter-attack on my server *sigh* They killed him, but the actual defense was waiting in the Dark Lady's room. They never saw the Alliance.
I like assassinating things :) I can down the Stormwind Flight Master easy and live, but let's face it...the Alliance on my server don't seem to care. I can kill him 6 times in 15 minutes and they still won't kill me. In fact, I've killed random mobs and sometimes players in SW about 20 seperate times, and I've only died 3 times. Two at the start of my adventures, and once on the Deeprun Tram cause I /poked a Paladin on my way past and they attacked. Oh, and another time cause I stood on the foot of a Warlock I had just dueled outside SW to let him know where I was. Traitor.
