More Cataclysm precursors found in Patch 3.3.3 PTR files {WoW}

Feb 20th 2010 12:50PM The new troll capital will be called "Zul'Again". Zul'City, Zul'Town, and Zul'Ville were already incorporated.

Man forced to choose between his wife and his orc {WoW}

Jan 8th 2010 1:43PM Which one is the wife, which one is the orc? It's really hard to tell.
With that thought, I'd choose the statue. At least you won't have to listen to it piss and moan for the next 25 years.

Arcane Brilliance: Gearing up after the glorious patch 3.3 {WoW}

Dec 20th 2009 1:48AM I had a paladin tank Gun'Drak on my mage. He had some toc25 epics. While he was tanking the boss, I asked if he had Righteous Fury on, and he replied: "No? Why would I?" I was only wondering because I pulled agro after 4 non-crit arcane blasts.

I pulled agro using blizzard (no cooldowns, no procs) on the next trash pack. I Invised, and left.

It was pretty soul crushing.

Patch 3.3: Helpful rewards for low-level dungeon runs {WoW}

Nov 16th 2009 2:25PM Just remember, if there is an awful person, they can be vote-kicked out of the group, and can't use the LFG system again for 10 minutes (?) because they left the group with out finishing it.

Patch 3.3: Helpful rewards for low-level dungeon runs {WoW}

Nov 16th 2009 11:15AM I like this idea. It can fill holes in itemization without a lot of man hours for neither the developers nor the players. Wait, was that a double negative? Well you get the point.
Just the million dollar question; will these helpful rewards be "well, hey, this plate kinda works for me...I mean, it has more stamina AND more spirit..." or "Sweet!"

Anyways, as it stands now, and loot is good loot. This may make leveling a little bit more entertaining.

Nov 10th 2009 9:20AM Maybe "of Light" means that Me'dan will get all the ICC achievements?

Incoming newbies, but why? {WoW}

Nov 8th 2009 4:52PM Why they're doing this? Because Aion has an exceptional video tutorial, and was also a highly praised MMO on release. And yes, people don't like reading tutorials. That's why you add videos and pictures with pretty colors.

I also had a few people I know from real-life start the game. They're pretty clueless when it comes to the game. Any help would be nice so I'm not answering "Do I have to click spells in my spell book?" when I get new people interested and playing.

In terms of "lessening end game by half": That's the silliest argument I've ever heard. So you think 70-75 was end-game? What? I think it would be nice for once to have getting a level feel like you've done something, rather than having one less level to gain before "end-game". And really, unless you're leveling without rested and no heirlooms, you're going to be hitting 80 way before you get through all the 'leveling' zones. I guess they learned that with all those zones that can more or less be ignored in Outlands now.

Spiritual Guidance: Can Prayer of Mending be improved? {WoW}

Oct 5th 2009 5:26PM Discipline is the proactive healing choice for priests. Holy is the reactive. I do find it annoying when the PoM goes awry, but otherwise its a perfectly fine mechanic. If only all range classes had a tool to send an errant PoM on its way like a good SW:D. So many times it bounces immediately from the tank back to me. I need to pay better attention to it, most of the time I let it slip off into uselessness (either not on a tank or on a ranged DPS not taking damage) because I'm busy with other things.

What do you expect from a WoW movie? {WoW}
