Oct 21st 2011 3:28PM I was one of those people, and I did leave when Cata started getting nerfed.

Oct 21st 2011 3:18PM Anytime something crappy happens with the direction of the game, I blame it on the Wrath of the Lawl King noobs. CAN HAZ EZMODE?!?!?!!!?!?!?!?!?

Director predicts Warcraft film will break video game movie trend {WoW}

Jan 3rd 2011 11:20AM He had me until "Sam Raimi". Sam did the tv series adaptation of the Wizards First Rule. If you came to the show without having read the books, I guess it was ok. However, if you did read the books it was a horrible travesty that was barely recognizable as the same thing.

WoW Rookie: Dungeoneering 101 {WoW}

Dec 16th 2010 2:17PM Thank goodness for this article.

"Take the time to say hi "

The words are true folks. Listen to what they say. I'm so sick of going into a random dungeon group, saying hi, and the group just remains silent. Is it that hard to hit /p hi? Or are you just that pro that you don't even need words to describe how pro you are?

Ol' Grumpy's guide to Cataclysm instance protocols {WoW}

Oct 8th 2010 11:54AM I really could not be more excited about this. I tank, and I'm sick and tired of everything mentioned in here(people pulling who aren't the tank, anyone who just says "go", etc). I started tanking in BC, and I didn't mind marking pulls and using CC at all. Spamming AOE is boring. I can't wait to see all the folks who started doing WotLK QQ when the content is marginally challenging again.

Ghostcrawler explains hit scaling in Cataclysm {WoW}

Sep 22nd 2010 8:46AM I want to thank Ghostcrawler for mentioning ilevel and people focusing on it. It pains me to see someone choosing a piece of gear over another just because the ilevel is higher. A higher ilevel on a piece of gear in no way means that piece of gear is better for you. We used to learn and look at individual stats and go with gear that had the stats we needed. I think ilevel gives people this false sense of knowing how to gear up their toon.

Guest Post: The death of in-game interaction {WoW}

Aug 23rd 2010 2:29PM "Are you forgetting "L4 more for Kara badge run. Need full T6. Whisp spec"?"

Ha, I actually never got one of those, but I can sort of see that happening. AFAIK Kara pugs never worked anyways.

"Or that only raid tiers below the actual could been pugged, and often after they have been nerfed multiple times?""

Are you referring to MC and BWL during BC? If so, yeah, I totally remember that.

I think you've got to two groups dead on.

Guest Post: The death of in-game interaction {WoW}

Aug 23rd 2010 10:59AM I honestly think Gearscore is the single worst thing to happen to this game. Nothing has changed the social landscape more than what people think is the ability to judge a players abilities based on a single number.

Breakfast Topic: Most emotional boss encounter? {WoW}

Sep 1st 2009 8:14AM Probably the Curator in Karazhan. I had a dream about the encounter before I had ever done it and it just kind of became my "obsession" for a little while.
