Breakfast Topic: Who'll be in charge in the next regime? {WoW}

Apr 17th 2011 11:17AM @Argumentativeweasel, Varian has only been around for ~2yrs. He is NOT "World of Warcraft" incarnate. Bolvar should have been the human leadership, but obviously Blizzard decided a more...permanent position for him.

Garrosh Hellscream: Then and now {WoW}

Apr 14th 2011 8:24PM steroids. wheres the Feds when you need em? Who cares about barry bonds. Time to put Garrosh under the microscope.

Blizzard issues Call to Arms clarification {WoW}

Apr 9th 2011 10:04AM As my main is a tank and my main-alt is a healer, I am excited for this. However, I certainly understand the fear dps have, as this may cause more people who are not geared or experienced enough to be fulfilling these more sought-after roles. This will lead inevitably to some decent runs but i imagine most of these runs will end in vote-kicks and nerdrage.

Ask the Devs Round 4: Weapons and armor questions answered {WoW}

Apr 5th 2011 10:52PM just let them use relics. they share the same relics as pali's and DKs. problem solved.

Two Bosses Enter: Erudax vs. Lady Naz'jar {WoW}

Apr 4th 2011 7:21PM Erudax's adds > Naz'jar's adds.

Erudax would catch Lady Naz in a binding shadow, then with a well timed purple hurrican of dewm, chew up a good portion of her health. Any damage she does to him will be negated by the fact that his adds heal him, while hers would run around trying to kill Erudax, and she sat in her spinning water tube. Her own mechanics fail her as her adds would not be enough to kill both of Erudax's adds fast enough.

Breakfast Topic: Where's MY profession mount? {WoW}

Mar 28th 2011 10:47AM I actually think every class should get its own mount, not profession. Pali's, DK's and lock's have em. Let hunters train their own mount. Let mages ride their water elemntals (or a fire/arcane ele for those specs). Druids get a better cheetah form. SHaman get a cloud (ala DBZ) or something. Only thing I cant figure out is priest/rogue. Maybe warriors get a giant armored warhorse with like 5x the amount of armor the human epic horses have.

Totem Talk: Shaman healing Q&A {WoW}

Mar 22nd 2011 6:42PM thanks both.

Totem Talk: Shaman healing Q&A {WoW}

Mar 22nd 2011 6:10PM Question: My shaman alt recently hit 85. I raided on him as enhancement in WoTLK, I leveled him from 80-85 as elemental. My main is a pali healer. I am working to gear up my shaman to be MS heals for a 2nd 10m group in my guild, but have not delved too far into the theory of Rshaman. Compared to Hpali, what is the shamans repertoire like? Which heal is the super efficient "spam" heal, which one is the "oh shit" button, which one is the "use only sparingly"?

The Queue: Animated Ghostcrawler GIF {WoW}

Mar 22nd 2011 6:04PM the problem is not learning how to tank (although that is a challenge) and it is not gear. The problem is tanking pugs. My death knight alt was specifically leveled and geared to tank raids for my guild. However when I queue to do my daily, I almost always do so as dps. This is because I am tired of having jackwagon dps face-pull a pack of mobs while I'm waiting for the healer to get mana, then have them yell at me because I let them die.
I now have a macro that explains my style of tanking that I hit at the start of the occasional heroic that I tank, basically saying if they are deliberately going to be a jerk, then they should get out of my group right away. Still, this does not stop everyone. I also have a rule that I only taunt a stray mob once, because if a dps is not attacking skull, and continue to attack the wrong target even after I taunt, they deserve to die. Jerks are the #1 reason I do not queue as a tank in LFD.
