Feb 28th 2008 1:23PM The first page of Roguecraft 101 over at EJ sums up the entire rest of the discussion in a very simplistic manner. There's no need to constantly wade through the 100+ other pages, because the first page is updated by Vulajin (up to 2.3.2 atm, I believe).
The gem section in particular is basically only a couple paragraphs. Do you still need it translated here? If so:
- Only socket blue gems to fulfill a Meta gem requirement, and if so only use the +4 Agi/+6 Stam.
- Only socket for gem bonuses if they are offensive minded (Hit, AP, Agi, etc) and only if you can do so via red and yellow gems.
The rest of the info would be dependant upon your spec.
Feb 21st 2008 11:43AM I cannot believe you did not mention Socrethar's Girdle (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=30372), which is obtained through a Scryer quest chain. I know you don't particularly need to "grind rep" to get it, but it falls in your lap while you are doing so. This item was the initial reason I choose Scryer when I arrived in the Outlands as a mutilate rogue, but since then I've switched to combat swords and got my S1's in 4 days. So now I'm thinking I may have made the wrong choice.
Granted, the belt is better than any belt that drops in Kara in terms of raid DPS...so I won't replace it until I get to Gruul's Lair. Unless of course, the Girdle of the Deathdealer (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=29247) decides to drop while I'm in H-BM trying to get the damn Abacus. Ugh, but that's a whole different story.
